**** July 2014 Mummies ****

Welcome and congrats Morty :-)

My results were good!! :-).. I passed with a very normal result yes!!
Next one is at 28weeks.. I must stay away from sugar!! I must!
Got referred for my anti d and physio too.. So far so good with this care, my old surgery/midwife were terrible!
X

Glad your results came back good hun. :)

I also have to have the GTT at 28 weeks but I'm not sure my results will come back so good this time.

I've been getting really light headed which makes me feel like there's no weight in my legs so they could give way under me at any moment and when it happens my eyesight goes too where everything becomes blurry and I can't focus. My blood pressure is usually always really good so I'm guessing its to do with my sugars.

Thanks. I'm not too hopeful with my next GTT to be honest as it's when the diabetes was picked up last time.. I also feel like that on and off.. And also thought right despite being good with sugar I'm going to fail that first GTT but nope my reading came back at 5.9... And blood pressure was fab so I'm baffled !xx

Hey ladies,

Only felt little flutters every now and again and last night was aware of a few so told hubby to out his hand on my belly on the off chance he could feel something and he actually did! Within a few seconds of his hand going down, baby did a giant kick! It was amazing. Perfect valentines day present to him hehe
This is my 19 week photo. I think my bump looks so much neater when I'm in clothes lol looks just a bit pie-like bare bellied!

Congrats to all the ladies that found out the sex, can't believe how few of us seem to be staying team yellow :)
Good luck to all the ladies who have scan etc in the next few days.

Happy Valentines Day Ladies x

Don't worry, I'm still yellow! They better not have a slip of the tongue and spoil it for me, i'll be very cross!!

It's one if my biggest fears in pregnancy now haha it's taking so much willpower to stay on team yellow, last thing I want is some dopey midwife accidentally letting the cat out of the bag lol

Awwww lovely and great pic!! :D xx

Thanks hun! Xx

Great pic sarah, congrats!

xjodgex how are you feeling today?

Sozzy I'm due on 20th July. With 1st I went exactly a month before but wished I had gone earlier. However I was working full time then and now I'm only doing 2 days so going to try and go to 25th June.

Xx

Yeah I was working full time with my first which meant me being on my feet all day so I went 8 weeks before due date which was nice.. With my second I wasn't working but I piled on the weight for it!! And now I'm working part time which I've just cut down to 3 mornings a week.. So now I'm starting to think about when to leave.. I was thinking beginning of June as I'm only taking 6 weeks off work once baby does arrive so it'll be nice to have that balance between giving myself a break to prepare for the arrival x

So scan was today but the dad is coming from London and trains cancelled so can't make it!
Left everything to last minute to get here. He always lets me down :(
He is rearranging it for next weekend :( so gutted xx

Lovely bump Sarah! Mine isn't nearly as big yet. Just looking chubby.

I'm due 5th of July and finishing the 25th or 26th at the moment. Can't remember exactly!

We're going to look for a new car today :) we have an old focus which we're keeping and a Fiat 500 which just isn't practical! Looking to maybe get the 500L. Not nearly as cute as the 500 but it'll do! x

I love the fiat 500!!! I wanted it before I found out now really not practical!x

Hi ladies, I feel bad I've not been on recently or managed to catch up yet :(

Moving day is finally here!!! Got last few bits to sort out just waiting on the many pairs of hands to come help!! Will definitely catch up with you all soon XxXxX

Aww sweetie.. Next weekend will be here before you know it xx

I was exactly the same!! I don't think I'll truly believe it until I give birth haha... I actually have my potty shot saved as my lock screen (so sad.. Family think it's hilarious) but when I look at it, it reminds me of the moment she said it was a girl..can't describe the emotion that overcame me..haha

Definitely 3 little lines on your pic!
Yours is so soon!! Mines not until 6th March..but time has flown by so far so guessing it will be here before I know it.. Xx

Edit: first part of this sounds melodramatic haha honestly, I am not that kind of person x

 That's something I'd do! haha! I keep showing everybody asking their opinion. Yet I know if they'd told me she was a boy I wouldn't doubt it at all. :wall2:

It is quite early, for whatever reason they like to do anomaly scans at 19 weeks and 4 days exactly at my hospital. Or so the receptionist told me when they booked my appointment.

I'm not complaining though as my dating scan was so early at 9 weeks and 6 days. It seemed such a long wait until the anomaly scan then which is why I booked the private gender scan at 16 weeks in the first place. Little did I know the consultant would give me a quick scan at 14 weeks and 4 days. Which is when I came to the conclusion that the baby was a boy, going by the nub theory. hahaha! Shows what I know!

That is definitely a baby girl!!!! congratulations xxx

Thank you! :) And I hope so! I think I'd be a bit gutted if I went to my anomaly scan and they confirmed she was in fact a he! lol

I know it's early but does anyone have recommendations for bottles and sterilisers? I'm looking but genuinely don't have a clue x

Most of the babies in my family seem to suffer with colic (my son had it terribly) so I swear by Dr Brown bottles. They're expensive but worth every penny!

We also had the Dr Brown electric steriliser but I didn't think it was cleaning the bottles properly which terrified me as my son was in the NICU for two weeks and I was paranoid about him becoming poorly again so we switched over to the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature steriliser and it was so much better! (And cheaper!) Stupidly I chucked it out though as I was adamant I wasn't having anymore children. :wall2::lol:

Good luck with the move today! I hope it all goes smoothly.

I moved when I was 7 months last time and I know it's not easy to stand back and let everybody do it all for you.

I don't want to add to your fear but a Mama I speak to on Instagram recently went to a 4D scan and although she didn't ask or request gender confirmation when booking the sonographer came right out with it. So if you book one of those make sure you make it clear you don't want to know.

Aww no! How disappointing! Next weekend will be here before you know it though!

My partner works in London Monday to Friday and done pretty much the same last minute but due to being busy at work. I was so angry! Thankfully my Mum was off and she took me instead, which he wasn't that bothered about. :| ...Until I refused to tell him the gender.

Afternoon ladies hope everyone is well we have just done our first bit of baby boy shopping so nice to buy blue and not stick to white (think its going to cost us a fortune i like everything lol) heres 3 of the outfits we got today hee hee xx

How cute are those!! Lovely little dungarees!

I've just started up a little box of baby clothes, new purchases (my KG shoe box which is quite cute!)
I was cutting the labels out of my baby gap hats and cut too close.. Now the lining has come apart so have to stitch it back up.. Stupid gap labels.. Bloody massive for no reason..why would you put massive labels in a newborn baby hat??!!
Xxx

~ Xjodgex,
Sorry to hear this hun, I hope you are ok? and feeling much better now :petal: xx

~ Sophie,
Aww sweetie, I know you must have felt so disappointed and I'm angry with this crappy weather too. It has made my life so much harder this week as I needed to travel by trains which were cancelled and ended up in buses driving behind slow queues of cars through flooded roads and being diverted by the police into much loooonger journeys! I am sure next time for the scan will come before you know it and the wait will be worth it :petal: xx

~ Sarah,
you look fantastic!! I aspire to this lovely bump of yours!! :) xx

~ Vickilou,
the supercute dungarees are my favourite!! xx

Happy weekend all!! xx

Picked up hubby safely from Heathrow very early this morning after a long haul flight, so I am much happier today, although I hardly had any sleep last night and it looks like he's going to be asleep for most of the day due to awful jet lag!! LOL xx
