If it hadn't been the January sales, I'd have waited but I'm Jewish so can't resist a good bargain haha
Not buying any disposables like nappies/wipes etc until after 20 week scan.

I'm super paranoid at the moment that I've lost the baby. Literally no reason to believe that at all just scared of losing the baby. Trying to get a doc ap to listen to heartbeat today. Will have to see, not sure extreme paranoia is a good enough reason to have a doc ap lol x

Got a doc ap for this afternoon to hear baby's heartbeat with Doppler. Really paranoid now

I literally just called my GP, explained I was anxious and getting upset and she just said that that was no good and I'd have to come down to the surgery just to ease my mind before the weekend.

Oh I've bought a wee bit of clothes. I've been given a Groegg and a Moses basket. Hopefully going to buy our furniture tomorrow. We have loads of soft toys we got on our honeymoon in Tokyo. They are for little bub x

I haven't asked, don't really want he to to talk about it unless she feels ready. She was just over 16 weeks. It is a very rare occurrence after 12 weeks so don't get too paranoid! Xxxx

I suffer with bad anxiety anyway, was feeling paranoid today when I woke up.

Your poor friend must be in such a state. I hope she's got lots of people around her supporting her.

OMG girls, just got back from doctors and on cloud nine.

The Doppler was poor quality and grainy but I got to hear the heartbeat loud and clear and the doctor confirmed that the heart rate was strong and baby seems perfectly happy snuggled away in my belly! Argh I swore I wouldn't get one but now I want to buy a Doppler lol

Now my symptoms are beginning to ease I really am able to just enjoy being pregnant and get excited and start trying to bond with my little Pip. Hope you're all having a good day x

I'm trying to resist the urge to buy one as if one of the twins is behind the other and I can't find them I'll just worry myself silly anyway... Got my private gender scan booked for the 25th

Moved over to Second Trimester thread Have got a scan booked in for Wednesday, when according to the midwife I will be 15+4, and she reckons we will be able to see the gender! So excited! Has anyone else already had a gender scan? Am trying not to think about it too much because I really have it in my head that baby is a boy, we talk about "him" (in Spanish anything thats neither he or she is called "he" instead of "it", so baby has inevitably become "he")... think it will be a bit of a shock to the system if "he" is a girl! Really looking forward to it, but trying not to get my hopes up incase we have a modest baby Sending lots of love out to you all xxxxx

IVE BEEN UP SINCE 4AM!! Wtf? And, on a different note, I have a really itchy areola lol

I think my baby is a boy. We aren't finding out the gender but there is a part of me that really wants to. Definitely in my head the baby is a boy even though whenever I picture having a baby in my arms it's always a girl haha

It's funny isn't it! I keep changing my mind, one day I think it's a girl, the next a boy! I just want July to hurry up so I can hold my baby and know it's going to be alright x

OMG being up from 4am is expensive!

I ended up spending a bomb on ASOS buying maternity dresses (most of which can be worn after baby is born too) then I went and bought a bloody rocker swing too! I need to be careful, this baby is costing me a fortune!

On the bright side, my hypnobirthing CD's came through today :-D very excited by it all!
