**** July 2014 Mummies ****

Gosh how annoying! They really do need to sort out this issues they have with heirachy in the NHS!

Sorry Daley. Maybe make an appointment to see a different doc in a weeks time?

xxx

Sorry you got no joy from the dr Daley. It's annoying when you get the get on with it attitude because that doesn't help anyone. I think it's lovely to take children to scans and midwife appointments. I'm hoping to get an appointment during a school holiday so I can take mine with me one day.

Well scan done, and I'm brining up the numbers for the boys! There was no mistaking it, he was not shy about showing it off. And I was the guinea pig for the new machine so got an extra long scan, loads if free pictures, and got to see him yawning and wiggling away :-D

This is wonderful news, welcome back Xjodgex!! :petal: Glad to see you are doing well, we were thinking of you xx

Yooohoooo congrats on your blue bundle!! :yay:

Brilliant news xjodge - we've missed you!!! Plus another team blue ;) xxx

Yay! Glad you're back and OK Xodge - was starting to worry about you as you weren't too good in you last post.

Team blue starting to catch up!

Good luck to those with blood tests and midwife appointments today. Phoebes mum my daughter is coming to my scan, it's nice to keep them included!!

As for my doctors appointment was a complete waste of time. As soon as I said midwife had sent me as they thought it was PGP he said he doubts it so knew straight away he wouldn't do anything.

He had a feel of my back, lifted my legs and rolled them etc, said he reckons it's normal pains due to everything stretching as spd pain is usually at the front not the back. Told me to keep active we're possible but gets lots of rest and take pain killers. Oh and to go back if it's worse!

So annoyed, all the stuff I've read on PGP (pelvic partnership website recommended by midwife) says it common to get pain in the back!

I honestly got the impression he didn't like that the midwife had tried to make a diagnosis!

Sorry no joy with dr, really hope your scan makes up for it later. Lovely to take bigLO with you. Phoebe was incredibly good and enjoyed hearing heart beat and kicking. Xx

Sounds like a good day. Congrats on team blue. Hope your feeling better now x

Had a really good mw appointment this morning. Despite having DD with me, I managed to talk about a lot of the issues that have been bought back up about DDs birth and she offered a lot of support about how to make things better this time and talked about kangaroo technique (or something like that) that I can do if I go for elective section. She understood how I'm feeling and said she'd do everything she could to try and get me feeding this time. It was all just very helpful. I couldn't tell if heartbeat was train or horse. Dd was pleased to hear it though and the kicking. I don't have a doppler at home. So good morning xx

Glad your appointment went well hun and they managed to reassure you xxx

This is great Phoebes_mum - sounds like you had a good session with your MW today, sounds quite therapeutic actually :) xx

Pleased you had a good appointment.. A good midwife makes all the difference..
Nice for LO to be included...

My LO asked me earlier "what are we going to do about opening your tummy mummy?"
" I want to hold her" haha..
I've told him that he can be one of the first to hold baby in July which he seemed satisfied with ha xx

Xjodgex - Congrats on team blue!!

Daley - good luck with your scan at 4pm.. Hope all goes well & baby is in a good position to confirm :blue: xxx

Hello ladies, just a quick question, I'm 20 weeks 2 days, I've felt baby move since 18 weeks and started to feel kicks just recently. But it's not very often I do feel anything, it's not very regular & she does move more on a evening. This is my second baby, is it normal to not feel much still? Xx

Well I'm back! Scan was amazing! Baby was doing handstands and everything!

All well, except placenta is anterior and low lying so have to have a scan at 32 weeks to check it's moved up!

We are definitely team BLUE!!!!

Yeay Daley!! Great pics of your little boy. Hope your daughter enjoyed the experience, how old is she? Does she mind that she's having a brother? Phoebe really wants a sister but we're staying yellow! Xx
