**** July 2014 Mummies ****

Hey ladies not been on for a few days and was in tri1 July mummies thinking it was quiet then realised were all tri2 now!! It'll take me a few days to read through all the posts on here but without looking I hope everyone's well and tri2 is slightly easier than tri1 xxxx

Nice to see you here! How have you been? X

I've been exhausted that's why I've not been on much. I get up at 7 every day for work n home at 5, have a bit of tea n bed! I can't sleep once oh comes to bed so I'm not getting many hours at all. Also found out I've got a huge cyst that may need removing but will know more at 20 week scan. Plus my dr told me this week that my bloods from November were abnormal n I was anaemic back then (but didn't know) n as I have nose bleeds every day he's put me on high dose iron tablets so no wonder I've been drained n sleeping so much! Midwife never discussed my bloods so was a bit peed off as I could've been on iron tabs since novber felt more human. Am soooo excited for my 20week scan. Shame I can't be seen before week 19 like some of you ladies I'm dying to know. Can't buy anything n get organised til I know, want to do as much now rather than wait til I'm massive n uncomfortable driving (oh doesn't drive). Am worrying about money a lot as I'll be 700 a month down when I go on mat leave as will only get smp n I won't have enough to pay my half of mortgage, bills etc n oh can't pay my share as every penny of his wage is accounted for so god knows what well do but it's all down to me to find an answer!! Lovely seeing all you ladies with healthy babies, I have a Doppler and love listening to baby, sounds like a train in there. Gives me reassurance til my next scan. I'll check in again soon ladies, May one day get round to reading all this thread xxxx

Holiday booked -yeay!!

Yeay! So where are you going? Xxx

It's been really finding somewhere that we can afford and is not already booked because our birthdays are both on 24th May which is of course bank holiday weekend and the start of half term. It's my hubby's 40th this year (im 8 years younger). So we wanted to do something special.

So we booked a van at Euro Camp for a week. We haven't been there before but it was much cheaper than over here and not far from Paris so I think we're going to spend our birthday in paris and take dd to disney for a day as well. 7 nights there + travel was still cheaper than 2 nights at Disney!

very excited!

This sounds amazing!! Xx

Anyone els completely exhausted !?.. I thought the second trimester was better.. Not this time around I feel worse! Lovely! Lol. X

I'm exhausted too! I thought it was supposed to get better- but nope!

Gosh- I feel behind now- we've not started shopping really! Other than a look around at pushchairs etc!

I'm the same adebee. Once I go into SMP. I'm down £1200 a month. It's so much money. I'm trying to save a lot so I have an extra £1000 for each month I'm on SMP. It's hard but doing okay so far! x

Morning ladies :)
I feel so drained today so just having a sofa day with lots of looking at baby bits online... It's quite overwhelming and I think I need to write a list... Lol
Hope you all have a good day XxXxX

I am the same ladies- I'm self employed so go into SMP so will be down a lot each month, especially as I will probably have to I've up work much earlier than I wanted- I am a photographer, so won't be able to work when I get bigger as I already having problems being on my feet for 10hrs for a wedding or similar. :( it's so worrying!

A lady in Tri 3 recently posted this website link for baby's clothes..

Had a nosey on it & got some adorable things on it!

http://m.zulily.co.uk/newToday xx

I've looked at Zulily for dd, they have some lovely stuff but never ordered anything because there's just something about it...

I agree! Maybe it's lack of familiarity but it just feels weird ha xx

I've used zulily a ton of times and always happy. Postage cam take a while but I got all Alyssa's party dresses there plus her flower girl's outfit and all under a tenner each. Happy customer! Xx

I know Clare it's a worry. I'm lucky my work put me on desk duty so I'm okay until I want to go pretty much. Is it your own business? xx

Hi ladies.. Anyone seen this new bottle making machine by tommee tippee ?

Freshly made bottles every time in 2 minutes!! Sounds amazing for night feeds and I've found it reduced from £99 to £65 in the baby event at asda!

Worth it!? Reviews seem good but I'm unsure !

Look it up in YouTube! Xx

Yup! Just me as well- so no one to cover the bigger jobs, so had to cancel 6 weddings :( I am hoping I will be able to continue doing smaller jobs like newborn shoots etc, but my back has been so bad recently, I've been referred to physio, so worried I'm going to be unable to work at all when I get bigger! :s I'm saving every last penny at the moment, and husband has worked out most of the bills etc, but it's going to be so right!

That's great that you can go onto desk duty! :) xx

Not seen this Sozzy but going to have a gander!
With my first we never warmed his bottles as he preferred them cold! He's only just accepted warm milk & he's nearly 3!!

Can you use it with both size bottles or just the small ones? Xx

Hiya :-) yes it fits all brands of bottles.. And makes 4-11oz bottles! X

That actually looks quite good! Hoping LO was just a one off for not liking warm milk ha so will be warming bottles for this baby...(Attempting to breastfeed but that will only be for the short term if I succeed at all)...

Watched a youtube review & it seems really handy.. Forgotten what it's like when baby's are hungry & you can't move quickly enough!
Thanks for the heads up.. Will talk to OH about it xxx

My son was the same Hun.. Didn't like warm milk so I always felt the powder didn't dissolve properly in cooled could water.. With this machine you add the powder into the first hot shot of water.. Then it tops up the ounces with cool. Seems great! As my son was a very demanding baby and didn't like being kept waiting lol.. I will also try breat feeding for as long as I can.. Only managed 3 weeks last time! X

Id be chuffed with 3 weeks.. :)
It's 3 weeks more than my first LO had ha xxx

Kinda relieved to hear it's not just me who can't sleep with hubby in bed!
I feel awful cos he has to sleep in the spare room at the moment because I just can't sleep with him in bed next to me. Every noise or movement wakes me up and then I can't get back to sleep for ages. I hate it as we are newlyweds, this isn't how it should be :-( but not a lot I can do unfortunately if I want to sleep and not resent him constantly for stopping me sleeping lol

I'm the opposite. Can't sleep without a cuddle! x

Once I'm asleep I'm out.. The only thing that wakes me is a very full bladder & my LO crying..
Sarah- hope you're back to normal soon! Xx

Capricorn we seem so alike. I just about managed 5 days feeding dd but was in so much pain and bleeding and milk wasn't really coming. Really beat myself up about moving to bottle and midwives didnt help. Will give it a shot this time but really won't beat myself up this time if it doesn't happen. Dd has turned out fine on formula. Opps am I allowed to say that?!?

great find!

It's the same price on amazon, there's a video on there. Would definitely like one but I bet they'll have it at the baby show on demo so I will wait to see it there.
