Back from shopping and midwife! Appointment was fine was in and out. She checked urine and blood pressure which was fine.

Also got to hear baby's heartbeat for the first time, she almost gave up but I pointed out where I've been feeling movements, she had a listen and found baby hiding away. Was brill felt a really strong kick/movement when she was listening, think baby was saying - get off! Lol x

I have a very tender belly today so must be some stretching going on in there! I felt flutters friday but not felt anything since anyone else had this?

My stomach is tender today too, walking around shops had to sit in the cafe and rest for a bit! Must just be some stretching xxx

Sarah - how exciting! I'm moving house in march so haven't ordered anything yet, can't wait to get started! X

For the last week or so I've had a really achey tummy on and off too. Guess we are at a stage at the moment when our babies are all growing fast!

Really wish my midwife had let me listen in on baby - I get so paranoid. Heard heartbeat at 15 weeks but miss it and worried something has happened in a week and a half lol but apparently hospital policy is not using a Doppler until after 20 weeks 😱 my scan is like 4 weeks away! Seems like a lifetime to wait. Hope I start feeling more definite flutters or kicks soon to reassure me

I've been worried too lately. I thought I felt movement but not had anything for days. I have a midwife appointment next week which needs to come round quicker, I need to hear a heartbeat so I can calm down a bit. Had a strange dream last night I was already going into labour so I went to tesco and bought equipment so my husband could deliver baby at home before he goes away. My hubby is going away but not untill may and he's due home when I'll be 38 weeks.

Vickilou, I've not had anything noticeable. Midwife just said it's really early and don't worry.

Daley that's lovely! It was so nice to hear and I couldn't believe how low baby still is! xx

I was suprised by how low baby is too, especially in comparison to my mini bump. But apparently that is the top of the uterus sticking out or something.

You girls with all your buying....he he.... I haven't bought a thing. Nothing! Do I need to start getting organised? In all honesty I haven't a clue what I'll need!

Look at the thread called Kezza's list, that's helpful but overwhelming lol or spend an afternoon in mothercare or mamas & papas, walk around and have a look and you'll realise as you go along what you need x

Oh forgot to say, turns out I'm not immune to reubella! Turns out I wasn't immune with dd either but no one picked up on it. I've definitely had mmr though. Strange! Xx

I've been feeling a bit crappy all day, so I just made a Victoria sponge, filled it with jam, and ate it warm! It made my souls happy

Oh forgot to say, turns out I'm not immune to reubella! Turns out I wasn't immune with dd either but no one picked up on it. I've definitely had mmr though. Strange! Xx

Apparently the MMR doesn't guarnatee it or something cause it was a different type of rubella vaccination. I'd had that one but not the seperate one at high school so could have been not immune too apparently. But seems I've kept my immunity. More excuses to stay in with your feet up!

Xjodgex - really!!!SOOOO jealous. I'm still working hard and can't see me finishing till really late. So no baking opportunity here. Boo.

Evening ladies, sorry not been on much recently...
We've found a house and will be moved in by end of Feb Woop!!
Had my 16 week midwife app today and she didn't go near me with the Doppler... A little disappointed but I saw bubs on Sunday so not really bothered much. All my bloods were fine from 8 weeks and my blood type is O+
On a plus only 3 more sleeps till we know the colour of our bumpage can not wait now
I really want cake now after reading your posts

I'm not immune either, and I've had the mmr 3 times!! It was picked up on with DD but they just said no point getting mmr again if it didn't work the first 3 times!

Just to be extra wary of picking up rubella xx

It really is getting exciting now... I can't wait to move so I can actually start buying and not just browsing... I'm rather jealous of your hubby putting the cot together I really do just want to start preparing everything getting ready for there arrival... I've only got a maximum of 21 weeks to go and it's all starting to seam so close now...
