Thanks for messages guys, ill read them when I can, i need to try and sleep in a min for an hour as im dead on my feet.
Really struggling with recovery this time. Been doing lots of crying, bad shoulder pain, my son is in scbu but doing well but all the walking etc is holding my recovery back, im missing pain relief/food etc when upbthere. Having to feed and express for nose tube , my blood antibodies affecting him , he is back down with jaundice but still having blood sugar issues, my scar is bleeding loads soaked through my clothes and dressing gown! On iron tabs now as one point more and transfusion !!
so phew ! Right my lunch tray is cold im going try to sleep, wishing you all luck, will try to catch up soon xxx

Aw I'm sorry you and your little man are having a rough time at the moment. I know it's hard but please make time to eat and take your pain relief as your body needs to recover and your little boy needs a well mummy. Hope things ease up for you soon xx

Ahh , sorry to hear things are rough, sending you both lots of get well soon wishes, he is in good hands in scbu, and you need to look after yourself too. Take care and hopefully you're both together again soon xx

Aww little Griffin is under the blue light for jaundice. My LO had the same issues with blood sugar and jaundice but was out of SCBU in 10 days. Careful you don't make yourself ill though as he needs you to be at your best.

Tip for their blood sugar is make sure they have warm feet when they do the reading as if they are cold then the readings are lower. We warmed Lo's feet up before his heel pricks and the sugar levels started picking up.

Hope the 2 of you are feeling better soon. PM me if you want to talk about him being in SCBU as i know how hard it can be, especially when on a ward where everyone else has babies. X
