Our little girl will be 3 in July and yes this is baby no 2, we didn’t want there to be too big of an age gap.

I’ve been exhausted this week, literally falling asleep by 4pm. My hair and skin have gone really bad too, crazy what hormones can do so early on.

12 week scan feels like ages off, we’ve decided not to tell anyone (even parents) until after then.

I would love to wait a while to tell this time but within a week or two I will likely have too much sickness to hide it.

We have told a few people, only the ones we would want as support if anything goes wrong. I also just can not keep secrets like this in general so it's so hard not to talk about it.

Hi Mummies! I am due 2nd January or there abouts. I have irregular cycles, but I know when we conceived.
This a surprise baby. We have 6.5 year old diva and an 11 months old little terror.
We were done having kids, so this is a huge shock.

I am very tentatively joining this thread... got a bfp this morning although am only around 8dpo and have just tested again with clear blue and is positive at 1-2 weeks. I'm in the eek stage of shock right now and although I don't want to tempt fate and be disappointed in the following weeks I also want to be positive and look forward to January 15th which is when Natural Cycles is currently dating me. Fingers crossed all will be well and I can join you all for the next 9 months xxx

Unfortunately I suffer from HG so I have been in bed with the sickness for a few days now but if I feel so sick surely baby must be doing well!

Sorry to hear that Bunny. I've just been so tired more than anything. This is first baby so not sure what to expect. It's still super early though maybe 4 weeks? I don't know yet as it's hard to pinpoint. I still haven't had a docs appointment, proving impossible to get in.

Congratulations to the ones who have just found out. How exciting.
Mrsbridge, I also have a daughter, who will be 7 in July. We haven't told her yet and we didn't tell her with my last pregnancy until I was 12 weeks.
I have booked my first midwife appointment yesterday for the 24th May. I have the same midwife as with my last pregnancy, so I am excited to see her again.
Has anyone else booked any appointments yet?

Hi Miasmum, No we haven’t told our daughter yet either so can’t wait to see her little face! I am waiting for the midwife to contact me for my booking appointment hopefully won’t be too long as I am away on holiday at the end of the month which I’m not looking forward to anymore lol xx

No, I haven't been able to even book in with the Doctor yet. It's literally so ridiculous. In the meantime just taking my folic acid and being well behaved haha
