Hi Smor - I agree with you and this seems to be a problem on every thread has on every forum I've ever been on. It's extra hard right now with new people jumping in and yes, the time zones do make it harder. Don't take it personally, I think everyone's had posts on this thread ignored haha. Will try harder to respond to everyone when I log on though.

Sore Bbs, slept okay but when waking up early this morning, I wiped and there was some light pink blood on tp.... worried me and I couldn't fall back asleep, pretty sure this was from sex yesterday as I haven't had any more...FX that is all it was.

OHHH and verry irritable.

Oh WheelDon2 I was just coming on here this morning to say that I went to toilet before bed last night and there was some pink watery blood when I wiped and some in my underwear too. Been scaring myself on Google and then had crazy dreams all night so know how you feel.

Never had any bleeding at all with other 2. Could it be that I'm older and everything is creaking itself into place? I hope so. Im just really scared now. No blood this morning, how are you feeling?

Think I'm going to try and take it easy today. Hope you do the same? Sending hugs, its awful to have this worry xxx

Hey all,

not sure whether I'm being extra sensitive at the moment but feeling a bit let down that conversations seems to be happening amongst a few and others are seemingly being ignored/not being acknowledged. Maybe we could make sure we acknowledge everyone to make extra sure that people don't feel rejected?

I promise I'm not having a go and like I said I may be being really sensitive but if I, someone quite resilient in everyday life, feel this way then others may be too!

Sorry you feel this way, this definitely isn't my intention if I am one of the ones you are talking about. I know what you mean as I have felt the same and sometimes it makes me not want to post anything. I will try harder to include people but I do think it could be time zones. Sometimes I come on and a massive convo has happened over night and I have no clue who to respond to first if at all.
How far along are you now? I'm nearly 7 weeks and still no one knows which I am struggling with a bit. Looking forward to 8 weeks when a few people will know and I meet my midwife properly.

Hope both you ladies are okay, I know how scary seeing blood can be, and hope it's just baby getting snuggly. Keep us informed as we are here to support you. If it makes you feel less worried when I lost at 5.5 weeks I had a lot of bright red blood pretty much straight away. Thinking of you both as it is so stressful the not knowing. Love and hugs xxx

I have calmed down a bit about it, happy to be 6 weeks tomorrow! Your appt for the midwife is in like a week and a half, right, and this will be your first appt?

Best to just relax as much as you can, I'm sure you are fine if you aren't cramping and there's no more blood. They like to scare us though don't they these little beans! 6 weeks feels like a little milestone in itself doesn't it!
Yeah I see the midwife on 31st May but I have no idea what checks she will do. UK is so frustrating as I haven't had any sort of checks yet and the doc just took my word for it that I was pregnant. Doesn't seem real as there's nothing official. My first scan is 25th June!

Thank you SmithyBaby, first thing this morning I thought I'd get on here because I know how supportive you all would be. I honestly can't imagine how scary it must have been for you at 5.5 weeks.

WheelDon2 I'm 6 + 6 today so 7 weeks tomorrow. We might invest in a private scan next week when I'm nearly 9 weeks to check all is in order. I'm fighting an irrational fear of ectopic pregnancy at the moment. Fingers crossed all will be well for you too. Keep us posted xxx

Bacon buttie sounds awesome. I ate myself stupid with bbq food last night and could do round 2 this morning. I think I am a day behind you roughly at 6+5. Going to ask the midwife what she thinks of early scans but may cave and have one anyway! We shall see. Hugs to all x

It's kind of weird here in Saipan. I am not giving birth here as I want to have the baby back home in Florida but we are here for a good portion of the rest of the year...So I have doc appts set up here but also one with the birthing center when I go back home for about 6 weeks before coming back out to Saipan...A lot of travel in the future while 14 to 20 weeks pregnant, oh how much fun it will be!

Are you ladies planning on having hospital, water, or home births?

Hi all. Sorry to hear two of you have had bleeding. 70% of pregnancies have some kind of light bleeding so don't worry too much.

CI - I was told not to eat bacon?? (Veggie anyway, but still)

Smithy - once you make it to 6 weeks your odds of carrying to term go up massively so stay positive!

WheelDon - Is it a long flight there and back? I'm having a hospital birth for sure. My hospital has a bath in every room in the labour ward so might go for a water birth. Need to look into it more

It's like 30 hours of travel time each way!

That's nice that they have the baths in each room, in the States, you have to be sure your hospital has one and usually they only have a few if any.

I've decided water birth is the way I want to go. Unless we have twins, which runs in my family, then to the hospital it will be!

Wow!! That's rough even when not pregnant. Hope it all goes ok. At least you'll be in the best trimester to travel by then.

Yeah our new public hospital is very fancy! There's also a midwife run unit of birthing suites attached to the hospital so if you want a natural intervention-free birth there's that option. They have baths too. I've considered that but as it's my first I want to be near doctors and pain killers lol. So would your water birth be at home then?

Twins! Ooh bet you're itching to find out if you're carrying two then!

And no (I don't want to have the mess in my house ) it would be at a birthing center. They have birthing suites that I am interested in. I've never liked the idea of hospitals.. they are so cold and bright and so seemingly uncomfortable.. lol!!

Ideally I would love to have the lights dimmed with my husband and midwife, music in the background, no pain medications, and be able to move around and be as comfortable as possible during labor..

Hi all, sorry I haven’t read back over everyone’s posts yet, I will do but currently I am waiting for the doctor to call me. Nausea is now constant and I have made best friends with the toilet bowl today, really struggling to hold anything down �� feeling like I’m failing at this being pregnant thing, even water seems to go down and straight back up. 6+2 weeks today. The thought of pregnancy doesn’t seem quite so fun at the minute and it’s making me cry loads. Told work today which I was really worried about as I’m still on probation, running a massive project and doing a uni course that they are funding but they were lovely and really happy for me and sent me home to rest.

Flossy are you in Uk? I’m finding with the weather if I am not hydrated it makes me sick have you been drinking enough?

I am suffering awful with headaches and my emotions are all over the place roll on Thursday when I can get on that plane and have a week in the sun with my little family!

@Flossy - Oh no! That's awful! It's very early on to be that sick, hopefully it passes soon.

@Mrsbrisge - I don't have headaches or crazy emotions. Just super sore boobs and a little nausea. I'm pretty tired and also need to pee a lot.
