******January 2019 Mummies******

Thank you ladies. Such a relief although my sickness is worse. I was gagging this morning taking my DD to school. I remember with her it seemed to ranp up in second trimester. Hey hoo as long my baby is safe I'll go through anything. It was so beautiful to see I could see him her stretching arms and legs. Awwwhh and u my sonagrapher is amazing she is seeing us again on 30/7 where I'll be 15+6 do you think she will be able to see gender then? We are going to buy her a card and gift as she has gone out of her way to scan us each time and really been kind to us. She's such an angel XX

I had to do a urine sample at the midwife on a Wednesday, my surgery has just called to say it was inconclusive and I need to do it again?!

Glad your scan went well Sarah. Yes they should be able to tell gender then if baby is co-operative. I'll be 15+2 when I have my gender scan, though it is a 3D ultrasound.

Mayflower don't worry about it, "inconclusive" often means they've lost the sample, it got contaminated or they made a mistake when doing the test. It's probably nothing to do with you. :)

They actually did a proper test? For me its always the strip test that the midwife/doctor does in seconds...

I agree on inconclusive, it usually means they messed up or there were traces from vaginal discharge.

She does that too - but in my previous pregnancies I've been prone to UTIs that don't have symptoms, so I think she's being cautious and sending it to the lab to make sure.
