SmithyBaby- Good to hear your cervix is closed. Bleeding can be caused by a few things this early in pregnancy with all the extra blood flowing. I hope she's right and all goes well tomorrow!

How did your scans go ladies??

I just got back from my scan and I am on Cloud 10 right now!!!

Baby Wheeldon is measuring perfectly at 9w1d with a HB of 176!!! I am SO in love!!

That’s great news!! My scan went well to, it’s the first scan I’ve had where it is starting to look like an actual little baby and it was wriggling on the scan which was sweet to see!! Heart was beating away strong aswel, still a long way to go but I want to get excited!! I’ve got my first midwife appointment on Saturday at 1.30 I’m actually supprised they do it on a Sat lol so I will see wot happens they said to allow 2 hours for the appointment!! Xx

I know I thought that aswel god knows what they cover apparently they ask a lot of questions but I suppose all will be revelaved on Sat lol!! Also I dont reallly have any symptoms I havnt from the start only bad mood swings but everything else I feel totally normal sometimes I wish I had symptoms so I don’t panic as much lol but my Dr doesn’t seem concerned they said everyone is different xx

Everything is going to be okay love! I am hoping the best for you! I can't wait to see your little one.

And thank you, I was a nervous wreck going in there but he/she is growing, that's all that matters.

You'll get your notes, they'll probably do urine and blood tests, blood pressure, and ask a lot of questions about yours and the fathers medical history. They might ask if you've thought about how and where you want to give birth, how your planning to feed the baby. And they'll give you looooots of information, and tell you what to do or who to call if you're worried about anything.

Morning all, I did not post on yesterday thought I'd leave a day or two. Hope you are all well, I had my scan and there is a lovely little sprout in there gestation 8+3 with a lovely heart beat. I am so overjoyed. I go for a scan again at 10+3 and 12 weeks as I'm under special care for prior losses.

Ladies do you have any tips for nausea? Literally everything sets me off. I to run out the super market to throw up, if there is water in the washing up bowl, the bin, opening the fridge etc. My sick certificate runs out tomorrow I'm not sure I can handle work. Any advice (apart from ginger) would be gratefully appreciated xx

Are you actually being sick as well or constant nausea?

I had constant nausea last time, and I found if I had a supply of polos, fruit pastille or salt and vinegar crisps it kept it at bay!
