i am in week 13 so i finally feel able to post in here! hello all, how are we all doing? ill try catch up :)

Oh that's great news selina! And congrats on team blue!

I'm still feeling nauseous most of the time but only being sick occasionally now. I'm still on my anti sickness meds tho a X working reduced hours. Expecting to feel normalish around 20 weeks as I did with my second. I'm also getting some hip pain and achy legs, particularly in the heat.

Feeling really impatient to find out what we are having, although pretty certain it's another boy! I did ask for gender guesses on my scan pic but only got 1 response

I don't think I've ever had an issue with hair growth any more than normal when pregnant. I'm fairly hairy for a fair person anyway, lol!

Yay on joining Carly
Congrats on your boy selina! was it a Surprise? Boys are great :) !

Yay for more hairy people!! :) ha ha ha.. I wasn't like this with any of the boys, so that's one thing that's definitely different! Oh the joys :)

I had a feeling it was a girl this time but I got it wrong with my first pregnancy too. My instinct is clearly crap with guessing gender! I was surprised but super happy. I had the harmony test so my priority was that gaby was ok. The gender and knowing the gender then was just a little bonus of waiting for the results really! Im very very happy that my son will have a little mate! I cant wait x

Are we all using this thread now? I posted on the first tri one the other day about my scan but nobody replied!

Still confused about when second tri starts. Some say 13 weeks and others say 14!

Just post in here now, poor lulla won't really be on to change dates or anything which is understandable and we will all be in here within weeks anyway

Kathryn what's your due date so I can add you to the list on page one

I've definitely noticed hair on my body is growing a lot quicker! Find myself shaving a lot quicker than I usually do...! When I lay on my back in bed, I can feel pulling and aching either side of my groin area - think it may be the stretching of all the muscles or something, horrible! I had a nasty rash come up on the center of my chest and itching on the sides of my neck (no rash there though), I think I have suddenly become allergic to the necklace I usually wear so have taken it off for now and have to keep rubbing myself in germolene! Had some dry skin on my nipples (sorry if TMI) the last 2 weeks as well so had to buy some nipple cream for that... Oh the joys!

OH kipped on the sofa last night from 2am till when he got up for work because he was snoring so much for hours and I couldn't get to sleep, so he went and slept on the sofa for a few hours and left the bed for me, bless him.

Glad you're all doing well xx

Think ill join here now as im 14 +4!

Hope everyone is feeling better asap!

Im fed up with my weight gain, have a few occasions to dress up for and cant get anything particularly nice except one mamalicious dress which is OK but very comfy (decided to go maternity already to get my moneys worth haha). Fitted clothes show my belly button rather than a recognisable bump and although i feel huge its in the inbetween where i could just look fat to some people. Floaty dresses mostly dont flatter me either. Everything else seems too out there, too casual or too short for me (i do knee lenth and longer only).

But long story short i started couch to 5 k again last night, tried it just before i fell pregnant with my first and stopped my exercise to find out what it was OK to do .... But by the time i found out i should have carried on my circuit training etc... i had lost motivation. Anyway i remembered couch 2 5k is the most I've ever enjoyed running and same again... Absolutely loved it when i went last night, might Just be the good weather tho .

Anyone else exercising?

Hey hairy ladies haha!! The joys of pregnancy hey! So I'm a teacher and had transition yesterday - one of the mum's pretty much had a go at me saying the timing of my pregnancy was awful for her daughter and that she will be speaking to the head about this situation?! I was gobsmacked!! I just said unfortunately it's not always possible to time these things perfectly (I actually did try to!!) so rude!

Bloody hell what a horrible person to say that!!! It is bloody rude and I hope the head pulls her down a peg or two! I think parents expect teachers not to have any kind of life! X

So me being me, I am too impatient to wait a month for my 20 week scan so I have booked a gender scan at babybond in my local mothercare for tomorrow. I'll be bang on 16 weeks. So excited and also so nervous

You should have told her you are within your rights to have a baby, at any time, just like every other woman out there! Being a teacher dosen't make any difference! I hope your head will put her in her place, outrageous!

Good luck for gender scan today! Exciting!
