****** January 2015 mummy's to be ******

Hi bunnyN. Yeah it is so weird finding our so early, I almost can't allow myself to believe it yet. My period is due tomorrow or the next day. Have you done more than one test. I keep thinking I need to keep testing to see if the result is stronger.

Congrats ladies who just got their Bfp!!

Quick question can we eat coleslaw??
I've read so many different answers ? Xx

I would kitty, I ate everything I fancied in moderation with my daughter and had no problems. I am going to do the same this time round too! As long as it's fresh I doubt it will do any harm x

Coleslaw - nom!

Seriously though it will be fine. Enjoy!

Is anyone else off their food? Everything just stinks to me at the minute! Xx

I booked an early scan today. Wasn't going to bother, but 8-9 more weeks is just far too long to wait for Mrs-impatient-pants here lol.

Looking forward to it already as it's only 3 weeks away :)

Hev, not off my food in that things make me feel ill or anything, but my appetite has kind of disappeared. It did last pregnancy though and came back with a vengeance in tri-2!!

I booked an early scan today too! It's on the 31st going to Ireland next weekend for a few days it will be our 1 year wedding anniversary, atleast that will fly by for me until the scan I hope !

I'm constantly hungry it's so annoying as I don't want to end up pilling on unesscessary weight trying to stick to healthy options... But I guess coleslaw isn't really one of them whoops !! X

Yay for early scan ceecee!
Glad you enjoyed your coleslaw kitty! Yummy! X

I am the opposite - I am starving!

I gained a lot of weight last time and never really shifted it all.

I am a good 2st heavier this time around

How do you arrange and early scale how much do they cos and how early can you have them?

Princess I just searched private scan in my area on google and had a look at different options. When I found a company I read reviews then just gave them a call- really easy. The scan I had last time costs £65 which is very reasonable, but I think they can cost upwards of £100 (I may be wrong!) just have a good look on google xxx

I am really off my good at the
Moment. I feel hungry but I don't want to eat anything. Really fancied a Chinese earlier, then when I got it home took one bite and had to chuck the rest. Just made me feel ill :( x

I could do with being off my food to be honest!

Hoping my BMI isn't over 30 otherwise they tend to refer you to a consultant?

Scans are £75 - £100 where I am.

The place that does it for £75 is just so out of the way though??

Do I pick convenience or cost?

(I am not booking my scan until next week though!)

Thank you everyone for the early scan information. My period is due either today tomorrow or Saturday so I will feel uh better once the weekend is over with. I have become obsessed with taking ptests though. I woke up in the middle. In the middle of the night, I needed to go to the toilet so I took another test and ot came back so faint I was worried all night there was something wrong. Took the same test as I took when I first found out last Sunday and it was so much fainter.

Happy Anniversary for next weekend Kitty :)

I have to admit Carnat, I would go for convenience over price unless it was a stupidly large difference in price. My scan is costing £95 and we have to drive 18 miles for it, but some of the places were only 12 miles away and charging £150, so I kind of went for price as it would have been an extra £55 for just 6 miles more.

Princess it's horrible waiting for your period due date to pass isn't it when you have got your bfp early. I'd try not to stress and just ignore the tests for now as they can be so different depending on urine concentration and time of day etc. Maybe wait until after period is due and do a FRER for peace of mind x

Hope everyone is ok today

C xx

The other place (more expensive) is much easier for me to get to after work but neither are all that convenient iykwim?

I'll be going alone as OH has to have James

I did another test this morning, it came up almost immediately and it a pretty nice line so I am happy.

Sorry to crash from December mummies thread but Carnat, I had a scan in London for £75 at a place called Ultrababy in Highgate but there are others dotted around the city. Is that the one you're looking into?x

Oooo all this talk of early scans is making me jeal. I'm tempted to book an early one but I have an appointment on the 5th June with my gynaecologist as I gave PCOS, he wants to check on a large cyst to make sure it's gone down. I'll get to see the baby briefly then! Xx

Yep this is the cheaper one!

The one place I al looking at is Fenchurch Street... That's where we had James' early scan.

What was the Highgate place like? Also is it easy enough to find?
