I googled loads before I went and was almost prepared they would say I needed to go back, although that ended up not being the case.

I can understand why lots of places don't offer scans until 8 weeks as earlier ones can end up doing the opposite of reassuring!

Edited to say - 7 weeks from lmp, my edd is 5th jan. They don't date scans from age of embryo

I got all my dates through today too

Booking in appt on 3rd June
Private early scan on 7 June
Dating scan on 7 July

Makes it seem like it's really happening. Have been in a bit of a daze since finding out like it hadn't really sunk in.

I'm sure you're right, just too early, dates from LMP are rarely bang on so probably a few days earlier than expected which is why the scan wasn't so helpful. Here's hoping those two weeks fly by for you x

My first post and first bfp, I am 5+4, EDD 18th Jan.

I am feeling sick and tired all day. Those ahead of me does the tiredness or nausea get worse or stay the same for the next few weeks? I am on feet all day for work and finding it tough but determined not to take time off.

Hi all. I'm now about 5 weeks and have been experiencing a lot of white discharge the last two days. I've also given in to temptation and have booked an ethe midwife arly scan for 8 weeks 3 days, which is just over two weeks away on 17th June. Went to the doctors on monday but haven't heard from the midwife yet. Haven't had my 3+ yet but am hoping for that on saturday.

It's my father in laws funeral mext week so it's going to be difficult nor drinking and people noticing. I always have a drink! X

The cramps are pretty bad tonight. Keep panicking every time I get a fresh wave of it, and keep expecting to find I've started bleeding. Gah!

I was like that spallerina. Every time I had a cramp I'd rush to the toilet to check there was no blood. The cramping has stopped now.

This sounds silly but I've been a bit afraid to dtd since we got out BFP!! I know it can't hurt anything but i don't wanna risk it lol! x

Proudmummy yeah that must of been it this was my fifth cycle off the pill and the only time i think i ovulated on time lol other cycles were quite long! Xxx

We didn't have sex for the whole of tri 1 last time.

(had my scan at 13 weeks so it was about 9 weeks in total)

To be honest I am not going to be that paranoid this time, we'll just "be gentle"

We have been dtd a lot, I've been quite horny lol. Doctor never mentioned not doing it so assumed it would be fine.
