Received my short protocol treatment plan today due to high amh levels (58) they are taking a gentler approach to reduce risk of OHSS.
I start norethisterone tomorrow until Sunday to bring on next period 2-3 days later.
On CD7 start 150ml Bemfola stimulation drugs and CD12 start Fyremadel injections and scans every day from CD7 until ready for egg collection
I’m just going to trust that the clinic knows best but was expecting to start stims on CD2 any thoughts?? X

I don’t know anything about ivf as we aren’t there, only on clomid at the moment. There are girls on here who have done both short and long so hopefully they should be able to assist.

Just wanted to swing by and wish you the very best of luck x

@Outofsync Hunny I’m on long protocol so can’t offer any help beyond suggesting you phone up and ask why it’s day 7 as you thought it would be day 2. The clinic / nurses won’t mind, they’re used to lots of questions. You’ll feel better if you ask as it won’t be on your mind. I had to ask about abstaining before EC the other day and couldn’t think of the words so said something about my OH ‘emptying the tank’.
I started a thread yesterday about surprise side effects of STIMS you might find useful. (Nothing bad) I’m going for my second scan today and honestly so far it’s been much easier than I expected so try not to worry xx

hi hun, I was on short protocol and started my stims on day 3 of my cycle. the drugs you've listed are totally different to mine, so that might be why your start date is different. each woman is different but as bambi said, if you don't feel that you understand something, give them a call :)

I rang them it’s because they think I will respond really well to stimulation and they don’t want to have to abort the cycle so take a lower dose for a shorter amount of time the nurse was lovely and just said some people need strong stimulation and some just need a boost (like me) so that’s put my mind at rest and hopefully it all goes to plan

Everybody is so different that their treatment is completely different. Glad you got your answers x

Glad you feel happier with the answers hun
