I am nearly as far north as Sophie. Saw a little bit of snow today, didn't settle though.

I drove along the promenade this morning and could see snow on the tops of the lake district fells . Dan was 'ooooooooo can we go sledging' - it looks so close over the bay but he didn't realise it was an hours drive and an hours hike to get there.
