It's all confirmed!

Saw the GP today and had the pregnancy confirmed (well, I told her I was pregnant and she beleived me lol). She is referring me to a consultant, apparently a bit more difficult as I'm planning to go to a different hospital than the 'local' one (I'm going back to the same hospital I was going to have Damien in which is infact closer and easier to get to) but she will refer me none the less!
She is going to contact the EPU to see if they will scan me early (at about 7 weeks) given my history, and also to ease mine and DF's mind. But that's up to the EPU.
Got to see the midwife at 10weeks pregant for booking bloods, so not long to go (yeah right!)! I get everything done twice though as I have to have booking bloods at the other hospital too, they arent very good at crossing the borders with information

How exciting that you're going to have another baby.

Is it standard to be referred to a specialist after having a prem baby?

I'm worried for next time after my waters broke at 34 weeks. Not planning on any more just yet though, maybe this time next year I'll be ready to think about no.2.

Hun thats great, at least u can enjoy your pregnancy in peace with little worry of prem! SO hope u go full term but u will be prepared fully as will the hosp if u know what i mean hun!

Well in my area it seems to be, but others are a bit different. Because I had contractions from 27 week, my cevix was already dilating etc before my waters went it might be different. Was was your son early again?
