Itchy nipples

Ohhh guys- can anyone offer any advice to relieve the itchy-ness. Also, is this normal or should I be worried (I’m 19weeks)?

Hey Jay,

I had very itchy nipples when I was pregnant with DS. I tried to use a mixture of different things such as Germolene, Epaderm, Savlon and nothing worked. The only thing that calmed it was Lanolin - the cream they recommend to breastfeeding mothers to soothe the soreness. I assume you are in the UK? If so you can purchase it from most supermarkets or Boots. Give it a try and see if it works for you!

I only ever have a an itchy left nip, the right one is happy as larry - what's that about?!
