Isn't it a sign of something? I don't know what though! My left foot constantly itches! Feels lush when i scratch it! lol

Lol I hve no idea but it's really ennoying me been like this for days now lol!

Hi Evie, is it around the knucle area, cos my hands are really dry & itchy around there. Sometimes it drives me up the wall! I haven't tried anything as yet but calamine lotion may help.

I have this, i was itching to the point where blisters would come!! I told my midwife and she did a blood test to make sure i didn't have OBSTETRIC CHOLESTSIS mine was a little high so went to the day unit to get monitored then had more blood done which came back lower, just mention it to your midwife Hun. O and i used camomile lotion, not that it did much though!! x

Itching, esp hands and feet can be a sign of Obstetric Cholestasis but alot of women get itching in pregnancy due to hormones. If you have any other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, jaundice i would say you def need to get it checked out or obv if the itching is really persistant. Tends to happen on the third trimester.

Hope it ok and it's just hormones, why do us women do it!!! :)

Oh great I hve been feeling really nausous all this week  my problem free pregnancy is turning out great lol!! It's all in palms and my feet have been itching too :wall: just getting better an better what is this thing??? Could I just leave it haha!

If they do a blood test they can check if it is that or not, it affects liver function an would require medication if it is that. They sometimes deliver baby a little earlier if it's problematic - I would get checked out to be sure hunni xxx

Evie hun if you are having itching on the palms of your hands and on the soles of your feet you need to get it checked out. This is a sign of obstetric cholestasis. I would ring your local maternity assessement unit so they can have a look at you. If they dont help you ring your community midwife hun. Its important you get this checked out. xx

I will make sure I mention it at my next mw's apt it's not ott at the min I think maybe I'm making it worste by scratching but I will def mention something thanks ladies x
