Hey I hope someone can help or at least relate,

I have become really itchy all over my body not helped by the chill Blaines and heat rash on feet, eczema in elbow crease and now to top it off ringworm across chest.

Can anyone recommend a cream or anti itch lotion that works. I am up most nights due to this constant irritation

Aveeno cream helps me when my psoriasis is bad. Fx it helps you.

Hi hun, you may have polymorphic eruption of pregnancy. I had this and it was hideous. Totally harmless to you and baby if so, but just utterly miserable and unbearable.

A few things to try:

- Menthol aqueous cream for cooling to sooth the itch
- Grandpa's pine tar soap (buy online) - lather it up and on your skin in the shower three or four times a day, smells like bonfire but the smell doesn't linger and it really does help after a few days.
- Aveeno oatmeal bath soak can also work wonders

If it were to be PEP (used to be called PUPPPs) then your doctor could prescribe pregnancy-safe antihistamines which may or may not help: for some women they are a lifesaver, but sadly they didn't work for me. Anecdotally taking dandelion root capsules can also help, but everyone has different comfort levels taking supplements during pregnancy of course....

Good luck! Xxxx

Thanks for the advice guys. It os causing sleepless nights along with the increased need for the toilet at all hours!

And a new rash, is suspect heat rash, at the back of my knees. Not at all how I wad expecting pregnancy to be and feeling very low! Keep trying to think positively only 12 weeks to go

Bless you. I spent many nights in tears with PEP/PUPPP. Midwife diagnosed heat rash but docs confirmed PEP, midwives aren't trained in it (appalling!). Good luck xxxx
