Hi all I know im probably a bit late with this post but here goes anyway. Wind is completely normal during your pregnancy I too am suffering with it. I have found that drinking hot water helps a lot with the cramps (it usually helps me release most of my gas too lol) also you can take rennie deflatine (it isnt absorbed into the bloodstream which makes it suitable during pregnancy.
If you are ever worried about the pains or if they get worse don't hesitate to call your doctor and describe the pain to him. Dont worry about it if you find out you do only have gas, at least you know everything is okay with your pregnancy.
More often than not you can actually prevent it, start making a note of what you eat you'll find that certain foods will set it off. Once you feel the wind coming on and you know which food you had just avoid it for a few weeks.
Hope this helps
