Like a top and tail bowl or a baby bath? When They were really small I was just going to bath them in kitchen sink. We don't have a lot o space to store....

Is the sink not a good idea? Xx

Obviously I can't say from personal experience but I've read plenty of the girls on here saying they wasted money on a baby bath and ended up just using the sink. I'm silly and went and bought a baby bath, its a bit annoying because I only have a shower. I may well end up using the sink :)

I used my baby bath for the first 3 months But i've only used the top and tail bowl twice as it was easier to just put water In a bowl from the kitchen x

I ended up buying a bath support instead of an actual baby bath. Was only 13 quid in asda baby event. It folds up so hardly takes up space. I heard baby baths only last couple of months and the bath support last about 6 months I think xx

I don't see how a top and tail bowl is necessary and I haven't bought one. I think the kitchen sink is fine actually, and loads of people do that, but I already bought a baby bath not thinking of the sink. You can always buy one later if the sink is a pain.

Just get a baby bath support

I did use the washin up bowl with sin for first few weeks hehe x

I found the top and tail bowl too bulky and ended up using a bowl from the kitchen, much easier! As for the baby bath, well ella-rose is 7 months now and we still use it, it sits in the main bath which is the best advice I can give as it saves carrying it when its full!

i never bothered with a top and tail bowl or a baby bath...

for the first few baths i just used a washing up bowl (even if you buy a new one just for the baby it will only be a couple of quid) and then when baby is too big for the washing up bowl i went straight to the big bath and bought a foam baby bath support which you can get for about £5 - £10 off ebay / internet / mothercare. Just search for "foam baby bath support" and loads come up. Gets the baby used to the big bath from an early age as well.

I just find baby baths are so big, difficult to store somewhere and get in the way..

for top and tailing you can use any kind of plastic bowl / tupperware.. again even if you buy new ones you can probably get some nice little bowls for less than £1!!

oh well that's what i did anyway x x x

now these are 2 things i actually do use :) i like to bath my babies in front of the fire in the living room on the floor i find it easier than standing at the kitchen sink or killing my back leaning over the bath and i fill the top and tail every morning for the babies wash down ive done it on all 4 of them when they are able to sit in a bath seat thats when i move them into the big bath

We've bought a bath support too, I think baby baths are a waste of time, plus we'll probably be at the inlaws at least 1 day every weekend and will have enough stuff to take with us as it is without having to take a baby bath with us as well! x

i have a spare bath stored at my MIL

I didn't use a top and tail bowl for either of my children or a baby bath-when they were new we just bathed with them until they could roll, keep their head up etc we put them in big bath with a little bit of water so no I'd say these two things specifically weren't necessary.

We have a top and tail bowl but didn't bother with a baby bath - we have a bath support from mother care which we use in the big bath x

I didn't use a top and tail bowl either.. And I didn't use a baby bath, brooke was that small she even looked tiny in the sink, I bought one of those giant baby shaped sponges that just lies in the bath so I didn't even have to hold her, I'm defiently buying one again for this baby! And I think they only around £5-7 xx

i used both last time but havnt bothered this time round x

i have both but only as they were bought for me. xxx

I ant bothered buying either I only have a bath as someone gave it to me, and with codie I just used the suport thing the other girls are surgesting as the bath was a pain in the bum to fill up and move about after having her (was a tad sore and had bad back)

Thanks so much for all the replies ladies! I have a small plastic thingy that looks like a seat that u can sit baby in when they get a bit bigger. I don't think I will get a top and tail bowl or a baby bath...I'll just use kitchen sink at start and then the bath seat when they get bigger....

Xx
