Is midwife counting wrong?

Hi ladies

I had my 16 week appointment with the midwife today. Going by the 12 week scan measurements my due date is the 26 April 2019.

I thought this meant I am currently 17+3 days pregnant, but my midwife said it’s 17+6. I’m so so sure she’s wrong, but she was adamant and told me all the apps count differently to her calendar ...

can anyone shed any light on this? Maths isn’t my strong suit so it’s really bugging me, as counting back from 26 April , which is a Friday, would put me at 18 weeks on Friday, not tomorrow?!

I've just ran it through two different calculators and they both come up 17 weeks 3 days. So I think she's gone wrong somewhere. Xx

Hi,

I work in maternity myself and just used our computer system to check. You are 17+3 today so the midwife has calculated wrong.
