tomorrow i have an appointment with the occupational health doctor at work, cos of being off with stress.
anyway this doctor is lovely, she is the same one that looked after me last year when i slipped a disc and she got me and mri and stuff so quick!
Now i have been sat here wondering if it is worth mentioning to her about our ttc trouble. I am off with stress, yes my job is demanding and stressful, and yes OH and I totally over stretched on our holiday and had a finicial nightmare also (which is sorted now) but the main problem that consumes me as you all know is the mc and ttc! and the fact the gp is not doing anything to help us!
I was just wondering if i can get her on side that she might beable to refer me for tests, I mean bath fertility clinic is on site! or will she tell me to go back to gp?!
I mean it isnt directly connected to treating cancer patients but i find it hard to concentrate and deal with pressures at work because of it all so it does effect work really?!
what do you reckon?

I think that you should definately mention it, more because it is related to your stress levels.

I wouldn't go in and expect her to pull any strings on your behalf though because i doubt very much that doctors will interfer with each other in that way, they won't undermine each other.

She will trust that your GP is making the decision that is best for you.

The best she would do is offer you advice about seeking a second opinion :)

yeah although with my back she went against my gp who said there was no point in the mri!! lol and she was right!

Hmm, well maybe then - i suppose it's worth a try but i don't think it is very professional on her part anyway.

Finger crossed :)

Fingers crossed! she can be as unprofessional as she wants as far as this is concerned!

Indeed :)

Might as well take advantage of it :good:

wish it was tomorrow now grrrrrr, but got my tap tonight, hope i get 11 again was amazing!

I used to go to tap class when i was a little girl, but i stopped when i was told i'd have to perform on stage.

I've always been petrified about going on stage lol

Definitely mention it - it's stressing you out and that's what you were off with. At the very least it'll be there on your file if you ever need time off again. Also she'll be able to help if you need to talk xx
