Is it possible?

I went for a scan last week when I should have been 6 weeks pregnant but the scan only showed a sac so the doctor asked me to come back in 10 days in case the baby had stopped growing.

Before this scan I never had many pregnancy sypmtoms but now I am having loadz and I am having really bad morning sickness. Is it possible to get these even if the baby has stopped growing. I am really glad I am getting these symptoms as it has given me hope that the baby is ok but I don't want to have false hope.

Can your baby have stopped growing and you still get symptoms?

This happend to me when I was pregnant with Leah. By my dates I should have been 8weeks pregnant but when I had a scan there was a bean shaped thing with no heart beat. I was told to go back in a weeks time to check for a heartbeat. I didnt have any sytoms but when I went back the baby was ok and I was told I was 6weeks.

I have my fingers crossed for you.

Im not sure on the sytoms but when I thought I was loosing this baby the midwife asked me how I was feeling and when I said I felt sick she said that was a good sign.

Put your feet up, no stress. Also means no cleaning and ironing lol.

Im really sorry to hear what you are going through.
this has happened to me twice. The first time i went for a scan at 6 weeks, they still couldnt see a heartbeat so i had to wait ten days. during these ten days the symptoms that i had started to have gradually disappeared and when i went back to doc she confirmed that is was a missed miscarriage.
The next time it happened they scanned me again at what should have been 7 weeks but could only see a sac. i had to wait a week and during this time my symptoms got stronger and stronger, lots of morning sickness and sore boobs etc. when i went back for my scan the heartbeat was there and all was fine, we just had my dates wrong and i had only been 5 weeks pregnant, so too soon to see anything.
Do you think your dates are correct is there a chance they could be wrong? I really hope that everything works out for you. The wait and not knowing really is the worst part. Lots of hugs for you
