I'm Christian too. You are quite right and I think you will be blessed for the respect and continued grace that you have shown. It's so hard when you give and don't get much back, well done for always doing the right thing x

Thanks bab I say to my husband all I can do is try then I know I have done my best to do as much as a can as a individual and that's all anyone can do. So fingers crossed that one day it will pay off haha!! I wasn't sure if it was its be being dramatic about mother not putting any effort in but I suppose from the response it's not lol!!!

Aww hun it does sound to me like maybe your mum resented the fact you did so well for yourself and were independent and stopped 'needing her'? I may be totally wrong but I hope she realises what she is missing out on x
