I'd never even heard of this until I put a pic of us assembling it on Facebook (in our lounge) and loads of our mates started going mad saying it was bad luck. We just laughed (because some people were so angry with us) and it's been in the dining room for the last 4 months. If we'd not put the pic up I'd doubt we would still know about the superstition.
