Is housing tax benefit the proper name for housing benefits?

So im reading my college letter scratching my head?

My course fees will be waivered if i receive housing tax benefits, we get housing benefits..Just wondering if that is the same or is it a completely different benefit?

I dont want to show up to on the day of enrolement and look like a 'narna because its completely different to housing benefits and of course have to pay the whole £400 there and then for my course, which we just cant afford.

Any benefit buffs out there care to enlighten me?

yeah it is hun, well should be i got my college fee waivered and got bursarys etc for being on housing benefit x
