My maternity allowance is ending soon and im going to become a stay at home mum (ie not claim jobseekers etc). My partner works full time and earns low enough to get us in the boundries to claim housing benefit. As we are claiming as a couple i want to know, can we claim as only one of us is working and the other isnt and is choosing not to (ie not intending to claim jobseekers)? Or do we both have to be working?
