Hi ladies. Cd10 today. Period came on 17th and lasted 4 days. Had no bleeding for 5 days. Today i felt a bit of a gushing down below. Went to toilet and there's pink blood when I wipe but seems to eased off now. I am not in a fertile week yet. I have been using opk and nothing yet. I think I may ovulate this Sunday or Monday?

Has anyone experienced this before? Should I be worried? I have never ever experienced bleeding inbetween periods in my whole time having them!! Typical!
Can't stop going to the loo now to check

Hi Sorry, no experience here but didn't want to read and run. If this is something that never happens to you normally then perhaps it is worth checking? x

definitely get it checked out. there's many different things it could be, some very minor some more serious bit always worth getting it looked at

Thank u for responding. I was thinking that. I'll call to surgery in the morning. I hope it's nothing serious. I was really feeling quite positive about ttc this month too. I can hand on heart say that I haven't a clue what my body is up to. All those months I have been convinced that I must be pregnant because of this and that and I've always been wrong!

Any change to a regular cycle is definitely worth following up with your gp. I'm sure it will be something of nothing, but best to find out what's going on xxx

Hope everything is okay xx I feel the same every time I think I've figured my body out it throws a curve ball xx

Well I visited the doctors and none the wiser really. I was told it could be many things including stress, possibility of having miscarried??? Pre-ovulation bleeding or change in hormones. He just said to keep an eye on it and go back if it continues. Well it has since developed in to a proper period and is still going strong! It will be interesting to see if I do ovulate this month and when. 1 period a month is a bitch.....2 is just cruel!:wall2:

Honestly, to start and then get heavier does sound like a miscarriage, probably very early on and considered a chemical, one of mine was a week before af was due. It obviously implanted and failed far too early. It is absolutely possible and if it's what happened, which you'll never really know now, at least it would mean you are able to conceive.

Such a different period when you're having unprotected sex and the way you describe it, does sound like a chemical pregnancy to me. It happens with around 70% of pregnancies...the implantation just fails.

I'm very sorry and I really hope you get your bfp soon xxx

Thank you GG. That's really strange because last month I felt as if it could have been different. Well if that is what's happened I do seek some comfort in thinking that I am able to conceive. I've been doing opk's throughout anyway and they are now starting to show a very faint blue line, which is also helping me stay a bit positive.
I suppose the doctor was right in some sense in that only time will tell. Xx
