hiya how many of u ladies iron ur babies clothes? if so when did u start, at newborn? i was justwondering as i ironed some baby grows yesterday and they did look much tidier but if they get changed alot due to sick and leaky nappies then is there much point?? xx

never iron vest, babygrows etc (unless she is staying at MIL's  ) but do iron some of her outfits (dresses and stuff)

I would only iron little outfits etc not sleep stuff or vests :D

i iron everything even sick cloths :)
i started before he was born sometimes they stay creese free from te tumble but cant bear looking at him and seeing creeses i think it looks untidy  i was lucky in that Thomas wasnt a sicky baby so dint need changing all the time
xx

We do the outer clothes but not vests or pjs. LO to be born though I washed and ironed everything. Not a difficult habit to get out of :)

I never iron in fact I hadnt ironed for over a year, until I washed LO's first set of clothes and felt the need to plug the iron in, and spent ages making sure they all looked neat and tidy........I have to admit though, the 2nd and 3rd lot of vests and sleepsuits I washed didn't get the same treatment (the iron stayed in the cupboard  ).

I dont iron anything hahaha
TBH I never need to! They come out of the dryer crease free! I would iron the outfits if they were creased I guess!

I ironed all of my LO's clothes before she was born (i had far too much time on my hands lol) and haven't had time to do it since :D If an outfit needed ironing I would but to be honest in the dryer or neatly on the radiators they dry with no creases anyway.

I have washed all LO's clothes and set the machine to rinse it twice so no powder stays. I have ironed it all and will do for about the first two months.. My mum told me to do so.. My sister has a 6 weeks old girl who developed rash because of the powder even though it was non bio.. She rinses all the clothes twice now and the rash is gone..

Oh.My.God.

Are you one of those crazy people who enjoys ironing? Do you iron socks and pants? My friend does I think she's bonkers

OH has been wearing a jumper to work for the last 3 weeks cos none of his work shirts are ironed

What is an iron?

I have a tumble drier than irons for me LMAO!

I never ever ever iron!!!

To Petra - Have you tried using 'eco-balls'? You get them in John Lewis. They are fantastic, and dont have any chemicals in them, you use then instead of powder. They are even anti bacterial!!! hey are fab, and last for ages, so much cheaper than buying powder and no heavy boxes to carry from supermarket etc. I got them as my LOs skin is sensitive, and I think they are brill.

 Thanks Nutcase - will try to get them when I get to the town.

i ironed everything until my daughter was 4 months... muslins, towels, baby grows... sometimes socks. lol.
but now i cant be bothered lol... just the little outfits etc if they look crumpled... but yeah dryer helps...
