Hi ladies
I know a lot of you know that i've been in hospital recently with an early labour scare and I know i'm still classed as at risk but things seem to be settling down so i'm going back to making more long term plans.

I have a consultant appointment at 36 weeks which is a sort of follow up from recent happenings and I have a few questions about it.
Firstly a bit of background for those who don't know, my son was a planned section after spending the last 3 weeks in hospital as he was transverse and its really dangerous for waters would go so consultant has already said if this baby is stilll transverse at 36 week appointment i'll be admitted there and then with the view to section a couple of weeks later.
BUT if (and its a big unlikely if) he does decide to head south and go head down do you think they'd offer induction as I have been unable to walk with SPD/PGP since 22 weeks? I hear they induce some ladies? I'm crying out to leave the house for an hour so hubby has hired a wheelchair, I really can't walk further than the bathroom and back.
And if they do offer to induce at 38/39 weeks would you accept or would you just push through those last few weeks for the chance to let your body do it itself? I know i'm probably getting ahead of myself thinking about this but i'd love to have the chance this time to look for labour signs and time contractions etc but on the other hand i've suffered for so long and it's been a painful and difficult pregnancy.
Any thoughts or words of wisdon will be much appreciated :)

I would recommend speaking to your consultant or vbac midwife about any possible induction.

My circumstances are slightly different in that I had a c-section with my first due to a failed induction. But I was advised my hospitals policy on inductions after c-sections is that they don't offer the pessary due to the risk of rupturing and would only attempt to break your waters and offer the hormone drip. This is what caused all my problems first time, so I've declined any induction and my vbac midwife and consultant both recommended the same.

They might prefer to offer you a repeat section if any intervention is required.

I'll be watching with interest to see if anyone has had an induction due to PGP, as I'm also struggling with it (been off work since 27 weeks, but only got that far coz I'm bloody stubborn). I honestly didn't think they would induce, as so far my consultant has been useless about my PGP.

Xx
