early induction

Hi I went to see my consultant yesterday

and he has said he wants to induce me at 38 weeks I didnt expected it at all but because of the daily injections I have to thin my blood they say I need to stop them 2 days before labour and because they cant say when I will go in to labour, he would rather I be induced at 38 weeks.

It was great I had an extra scan and everything my mother in law was there and she thought it was absolutly facinating nearly fell of her chair when he said induce at 38 weeks.

but at least I will know when I will get to meet my baby.

I get a definite date in four weeks when he wants to see me again to be booked in.

I was induced 3 weeks early with my daughter and i agree it is exciting and knowing the date that you are going to be taken in is so much easier as your not wondering when or where its going to happen all the time!
