Implantation bleeding? TMI image attached!

Hey guys!

I’m 27 and my boyfriend (36) and I are ttc. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries a few months ago after struggling with irregular periods for two years now ever since coming off the pill in November 15. My cycles vary from anything between 34-60 days, so we have tried to see how things go naturally before looking into medical options.

So my question today - I’m currently on cycle day 29 and since late last night have had on and off spotting only when I wipe; light pink (pic attached - sorry in advance for TMI). This evening the spotting has completely dissapeared after no sign of it getting any heavier. I ALWAYS have THE most tender bbs a week or two before my period, so much so that I usually can’t wear a bra for the best part of the week - but I have absolutely no pms symptoms whatsoever. My shortest cycle in the past two years has been 34 days, so this seems very early for me to be getting a visit from AF. I’ve been doing some googling (always the worst idea when symptom spotting!) and have come across implantation bleeding. I didn’t realise this was a ‘thing’! Does anyone have any experiences with IB and if so, what are your thoughts on my current situation? Does this look like IB or am I jumping the gun?

Unfortunately I don’t know when (or even if) I ovulated - its not unusual for me with PCO to have such irregular cycles. I’ve been logging my periods for years now but just this week decided to invest in a decent basal body temperature thermometer so I can finally work out if I’m ovulating at all.

IB usually occurs from 6dpo to around 12dpo give or take. The spottung youve described sounds like IB but its not overly common.it would certainly fit with dates of your cycle in terms of it being 5 or 6 days before af due....maybw try taking an early detection hpt sun/mon as it takes a few days after implantation (which could be happening for you now) for hcg to be detected. Testing now is very likely yo result in a bfn. Good luck...keep us posted!

Hi alll I'm in the same boat I had pos opk 8 days before my period this kept been pls for a few days then 5 days before period opk was negative I did an early pregnancy test 5 days before period which is due the 14th of Nov so I have 3 days to my period starts today when I wiped I noticed a little bit of brown in my knickers when I wiped it was light browny pink blood like nothing is coming out it's only when I wipe not sure if going to come on or if this is ib pic attached thanks

Hi Kazzy7, any update today? I continued to spot through Friday and Saturday morning but nothing since then. I’ve been feeling really ‘wet’ down there and keep running to the loo thinking AF is here but nothing. I’m really confused! Going to give it a few more days and if nothing then I’ll take a test x
