I'm scared of my scan!!

Hi, I've just popped in for a little panic again! I'm having really mixed feelings about my 12 week scan next thursday. Part of me is so excited to see me baby again ( I last saw him or her at 6 weeks and saw their little heart beating!) But a large part of me is terrified! Scared that something is drastically wrong. There is no real point to this post, I just needed to voice my concerns!

you will be fine hun, I felt the same I was scared that I would be told there was nothing in there. But all was fine. I really wanted an early scan but not allowed one since I hadn't had a MC before x

I think it's perfectly natural for you to be worried There seems to be enough posts about it anyway

You and baby are going to be just perfect

Aww flopsy. I think we all have that fear, but try to remember that it's more common for babies to be just fine at 12 week scans than for anything bad to have happened. Try and stay positive.xx

I have the same fears Flopsy. I'm sure both of our little Bubba's are perfectly fine!

Oh and your scan is the day before mine!!

I think everyone has these fears Flopsy - I know I certainly did. It was a strange mixture of excitement and fear - and I'm beginning to get the same feelings again as I approach my 20 week scan! I'm afraid you just have to suck it up and I'm sure that everyhing will be fine and you'll be posting pics of your bouncing baby soon xx

I'm scared too flopsy! Mines on Monday & I have a real bad feeling about it ESP as I've never seen anything yet apart from constant sickness, exhaustion & agonising boobs! x

I feel exactly the same am 12 weeks 2morro, but they cant fit me in for another week and a bit - I had an early scan at 8 weeks and had a strong heartbeat etc ..

But i'm soooo scared that something will be wrong and they wont find anything anymore, I was being sick up until the end of week 10 - sometimes up to 5 times a day - but now i'm not anymore and it worries me, still have sore BB's, Tiredness, v low blood pressure so am dizzy/faint and have streching pains and a small bump!

But still am so worried!
