Pointless post, just excited! I went a bit mad in Babies R Us at the weekend, and brought my Cotbed (well not mine obviously!!), mattress, bedding and other bits and pieces, just can't wait to put it together now
Here it is :- http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Nursery/Cots-and-Cotbeds/Sleigh-Cotbed-in-Coco(0073816)

What d'ya think?! I'm just trying to find a wardrobe now to match (similar colour), cause the one with the cot is £349 and I'm not paying that, anyone know of any places doing cheapish nursery furniture? Or any other ideas I can use as storage....

Thanks lovelies,

xx

Damn computers!! I shall try again - probably me having one of those days :(

I didn't want to buy expensive nursery furniture and as we have a fitted wardrobe in the room, I just bought some storage drawers to go inside it from B&Q which were really reasonable but they aren't very attractive so only really an idea if you've got a cupboard to put them in like me? x

I haven't got anything tbh apart from his cot, I've only got a 2 bed house, and my daughter has the other room, so he's stuck with me, so it's trying to find things that match what's already there...the cot has underneath storage, so need a wardrobe and/or open shelving or drawers I guess.
Wasn't sure if anyone had any unusual cost saving ideas!
(Think the link isn't working cause I'm not using IE, am using mozilla today - thats my guess anyway, lol)

have you had a look at IKEA? I am not sure what your furniture looks like, this is simple. The good thing is you can paint it to suit the colour in your room perhaps? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20108636 alternatively, try a charity shop. Sometimes you can find GREAT bargains :). Good luck hunting

We haven't decided on a cot bed yet. Like you we are not planning on buying matching furniture as 1) it is pricey 2) baby will be in our room as the second bedroom will be occupied.

its lovely :) for the ladies wanting to see it when you click on the link just type in 0073816 in the search bit and it will bring it up :)

That is gorgeous!!! I wanted one like that but hubby reminded me the little bedroom is a bit too little for it!

We got ours this weekend, cream and wood from mamas and papas, got the cot bed, dresser / changer and wardrobe, I LOVE it!!! Want to put it together already but need to paint the room first, thinking we're going to go neutral walls then dress the room with pictures and curtains for colour.

What's everyone else doing decorating wise?

Awww midnight, you little star! You wouldn't believe how long I spent looking at that yesterday trying to make the link work!!
Kbrady - I'm painting my room white, and then getting the Winnie the Pooh Starry Night theme bedding, curtains, lampshade, stickarounds etc. It'll be like living in a nursery (as bubs is in with me) but hopefully it'll look okay when finished :)
xx
