Ideas for easy family pressies?

Hi ladies!
I'm looking for ideas for gifts to give to family that won't cost too much.. I'm thinking maybe like some hamper style gifts which I can add to (but what to put in them?) I don't want them to be foody as my mum, sister and step dads one will need to be posted to Scotland and my mother in law is a chef so always seems in appropriate!

I wanted to do something I could make or at least add a few hand made crafts to, but again I'm lost for ideas! My lo is due imminently so I want to get organised while I can! any ideas are appreciated!

Have you tried the wooden signs that a lot of people are making and selling on facebook? They are really easy to do. So something like this:-

You can also pick up some little gifts from places like B+M or Wilkinsons.

My Mum made wee penguins and reindeer last year, they were so cute!

I'm doing hampers this year, and in mine will be

- A photo of LO in a frame (for grandparents and family etc)
- A tub of homemade tablet and fudge
- A nice wee ornament or decoration ( i havent decided what yet, but i'll be making them)
- A Scented Candle
- A bottle of homemade ginger wine ( Ive got a great recipe for this!!)


Still trying tot hink of other things but this is what I've got so far!!

Thanks for the ideas! Those signs are cute and would be easy to make I think! And I like your hamper ideas froslass! I'm a photographer so might take some nice shots of lo (once she arrives!) and get them printed I'm thinking of making my own candles maybe too ! You've got me feeling inspired!

I've got candle making kit, and although they are easy to make can be quite time consuming too x

I'm just gonna be buying little scented tealights from either yankee or kringle x

I was going to get grandparents and aunts and uncles something from baby

So maybe a keyring of bub's footprint or handprint (or an imprint for the wall?), or a 2013 calendar with pics of baby each month, or a mug with piccie of baby - that kind of thing?

Our bub has 5 aunts and 7 uncles so maybe we'll just do grandparents actually??

I'm making my sis a hamper this year. I'm putting in it a framed pic of my baby.
A Callander from vistaprint - 99p.
A handmade sign from eBay - an auntie one.
Nail varnish.
Some nice smelly stuff.
A lip gloss.
A book.
Shampoo and conditioner.
