Someone stole my card details and have been buying their xmas presents off MY card with MY money!

*******s.

Dirty rotten scummy *******s.

The bank said they should get the money back but still... the lady on the phone was asking me to confirm my recent transactions there was a £90 one from yesterday and i know i didn't buy anything then for that amount, but you still have to think about it really hard - well i do anyway because my memory isn't the best lol

Did i buy somethig for £90...? What would i have bought...? Have i ever heard of that shop before...?

In the end i decided that i was pretty sure i hadn't lol

Now i'm without my main card with all my money on it for the next week! Don't they know it's nearly xmas

OMG!!!

What buggers!!

Sorry to hear that hun, hope the bank sort it for you and pronto! x x

What a pathetic idiot! I hope they find out who it was and they repay everything x

terrible!! its' soo wrong! hope you get the money back quickly and easily! x

We've had that happen before, so frustrating & upsetting. Hope the bank is able to fix it. :hugs:

Dirty rotten C words! ;) hope you get it sorted, that sucks.xx

I've done a naughty thing...

The bank said to leave everything to them, but i haven't.

I was thinking about it and in the time it will take the bank to get their bums in gear that the shop would probably have sent out the item.

So it will be the shop that pays me my money back due to their insufficient security, which is fair enough, but at the same time the actualy thief will get his item! (Why do criminals always feel like men and policital correctness doens't apply - i know it's a HE!)

And he will probably get away scot free anyway with his item because well, he'd have to be pretty bloomin stupid to use his own permanent address etc.

So... i wrote to the company and told them that i was disatisfied with their crappy security measures because they allowed a fraudulant claim and my bank will be sending them a bill - hoping that maybe they still have time to cancel the order before it is sent.

I wonder if they'll get back to me :)

Did they buy anything good? Can you rearrange the delivery to your house? Hee Hee, that would be fun!

Really sorry though for all the stress this kind of thing causes, must feel horrid! x

OMG Lou thats awful, *******s! i dont blame you for doing what you did the company might actually do something!

They did get back - so much for Halifax fraud squad

The company cancelled the order, it was for £90 worth of gift vouchers.

I did think of that StarFish - kind of like buying myself a present - but knowing my luck it would have been football memorabilia
