I found babies heartbeat!

There was no mistaking it! It was lovely to hear the chugging little heartbeat
Placenta is whooshing away at the front, baby seemed to be hiding behind it.

Had some pains low down tonight and thought I'd investigate. Looks like they are stretching pains as they are right where uterus is. I hadn't noticed it had moved up!

I can now go to bed with a smile on my face

I could listen all day but bubs only gives me a few seconds before running and hiding. It really is the best sound and so reassuring xx

Its an angelsounds but I switched the headphones to the ones I use with my iPod, otherwise I dont think I would have heard it.
It was quiet and that was with it on full volume. x

Its really put my mind at ease as I havent had an early scan and the stretching was quite painful.

It is an amazing sound

I couldnt believe I'd found it so early but I think it was cosmic who used different headphones and found the heartbeat early too, so pinched that idea. I didnt hear AJ's heartbeat until 14wk when I bought the doppler. x

no just my first doctors appointment (it's a long story, don't worry) he usually gets the doppler out and lets me hear it. I really should have brought one in the beginning but 21 years ago they were not available like today. xx

wow thats fantastic u found it so early my wf had trouble at 14 weeks :-O maybe u should train to be a mw hehe i would love to get a doppler so the rest of the family could hear but im scared incase i cant find it one time and i panic :-/ we shall see if i can overcome my fear lol x

Oh that's interesting, because another lady that found it early commented she was surprised his low it was. Just shows, you have to search around! xxx

Thats fantastic you heard little one's heartbeat. Best thing I ever did was buy a doppler, gives you such reassurance!! I remember it took us ages to find the heartbeat at first and now we literally press it against me and there he is! Amazing how quickly they grow! xx

Its a Angelsounds doppler

I found the heartbeat about 3 cm above pubic line/top of pelvis. So quite high as I was expecting it to be tucked away lower down. x
