On average around 6 weeks. Private clinics will let you pay for a scan from 6 weeks as normally they should be able to find a heartbeat

Think it’s from 6 weeks onwards, although often it’s more towards 7 weeks, most private reassurance scans won’t scan you until you are 7 plus weeks X

They can see it at 6 weeks, but with most early miscarriages the heart stops beating around 6.5 weeks, so a heartbeat at 6 weeks isn't always reassuring, which is why lots of places won't do reassurance scans so early. Better to wait until 7. If baby can make it to measuring 7 weeks with a heartbeat your miscarriage risk drops big time

Just got home from my scan. From period dates I thought I was 6+5... She measured baby at 5-6 weeks so I must have ovulated late. However.... She was still able to find a heartbeat!!!! We r both over the moon!! She wants to see me again on 30th to check it's progressing as it should!

Congratulations! Such good news that everything is fine. Lack of symptoms dont have to mean anything, in fact when I miscarried that was the sickest Id ever felt (Ive been pregnant three times in total now) and I still miscarried sorry to hear about your previous losses, but its so good there is good news this time!

Symptoms really don't mean anything. With my first pregnancy which ended at 12w I was ill before 4weeks and had symptoms come and go, but with my son I didn't have any symptoms at all, infact I had more energy than usual until I hit 8weeks, then everything suddenly hit at once and I felt horrendous until 16weeks. Many women don't have symptoms at all, all the way through. Every pregnancy is different
