There are lots of ways to share breast milk with mums who need it.
I'm part of a FB group called human milk for human babies. You can post offers and needs here.
Also, google your local milk bank! There are lots of them about and most even send you the storage bags.
If you've got a freezer full and have lots to spare this is a really fulfilling way of making some space xxx

Its a brilliant cause, a friend of mine did it with her second baby, but cant this time due to meds xx

It's great and there are loads of mums out there needing breast milk xx

I thought that most places don't do it anymore coz of possible contamination, I think it is a fab idea and would have loved to have donated to hospital.
Xxx

There is a hospital on the Wirral that take donations and there was talk of The Liverpool Women's opening a milk bank so it's still very much in demand.
The group I'm part of on FB is very busy with lots of milk being given xx

That's fab, think when I looked into it the nearest place was over an hour away which just wasn't practical! Would be lovely if everyone could express one extra feed a week and give. To their local hospital!
Xxx

It would be fab, lots of hungry baby's getting the milk that they need xx

I definitely back this! when my son was in special care I donated my breast milk to other special care babies whose Mom's couldn't produce. I had enough to feed sextuplets lol and I remember reading my magazines while pumping away x

It's a great help to lots of mums with lo's in special care, a lovely way to help xx

Royal Sussex accept milk too, it's so rewarding and for such a good cause xx
