OMG its kinda driving me mad now. had a 3rd degree tare so bit scared to. it'll be 3 weeks on friday since finley was born but i'm dying to do the deed ha ha!

I'm in the same position as you hun and I hang my head in shame as I say this, its been less than six weeks since Esmé has been born and I still haven't done the deed.
I really want to but am either exhausted with her feeding, as she has gone to a point where she is constantly wanting a feed or a comfort suck, or that I am a bit worried to too, especially lately I have been very uncomfortable and in a bit of pain down there.
I have my post natal check at the doctors on Friday so hopefully she will have a look or give me some advice as I'm a bit worried about down there and I too really want to do the deed as you so put it lol

o god dont think i could last 6 weeks. ive neally stopped bleeding now 2 so that just makes me wanna do it even more. think i'll be glad wen OH goes back 2 ork next week so i arnt wanting 2 jump on him every 5 mins ha ha!

the midwife didnt say 2 be honest alls she went on about was contraception. think i may try next week. spose theres other things we can do

honestley it wasnt half as painful as i thought it would be. it as 3rd degree tear aswell.

Took me months after my first but i got an infection in my stitches so i couldn't. 4 weeks after having jacob we dtd (and got pregnant soon after ) and i think it was like 18 days after having lucas we started having sex again. I had a 2nd degree tear but no stitches after jacob and just a graze after lucas. xx

Oh forgot to say, there is no set time on when you can have sex again but can i suggest lots of lube and get your OH to be gentle because its not just the vaginal opening that can get sore it kinda makes your insides ache a bit if that makes sence. The whole area has been through trauma so gently does it .....HAVE FUN!! xx

as toonlass has said just use a lot of lube as the natural 'juices' aren't there due to giving birth...
i asked my midwife about this and she just said that its down to how you feel when you can do it, again she just said to take your time, use a lubricant and a condom (don't get caught out!) and just have fun!!! xxx

I still haven't let dh have his wicked way and he's persistant. I feel so bad as there's absolutely no physical reason why not. I just really don't want to for some reason.....

And I can't help remembering that the last person i had poking around down there was breaking my waters causing me a tremendous amount of pain and feeling tempted to kick him in the head.
