bit of an embarassing after third degree tare question

ok well finley's neally 5months old now.
when i gave birth to him i had a really bad third degree tare afterwards. ever since when i need a number 2 i really cant hold it for more than 5/10 mins which as u can imagine when i'm out shopping is a complete nightmare.
i saw a specialist just after i'd had finley and she said it would improve but it hasnt. ive got another appt with her in jan.
another thing. everysince having finley i occasionly leak wee which i find so embarassing. drives me mad.
any1 else had theese problems? and did they improve?

i think they say pelvic floor exercise helps to stop pee coming out thats what i got told off the doctor

yep i do them loads. no improvements really. i dread 2 think what the spealist is gonna say when i go. so scared shes gonna say something like surgery

I had a huge tear too and it's definitely not the same down there. I lost all muscle tone altogether and couldn't push anything out. Then after a while I had the same as you. It did ease over time but things go back to square one after each birth x not that I tore at all with the next 2 x

so glad 2 hear it happened to some1 else. did u have the same when u needed a poo then? it just comes on me all at once and i just have 2 go quickly lol

I had a 3rd degree tear too h is 10wks tomorrow but I've been fine with weeing!I started my first period since having h monday and nowand everytime I need a no 2 (sorry for the tmi) its become really sore!asked oh to look and he said all looks healed up and no bleeding but was wondering could it be because its a bit more sensitive down there with my period?has anyone had this?

Yea, I could be shopping or something and I'd have to abandon the trolly and find a loo. It has come back after Oscar too. Hopefully it will wear off again soon x
