Is it to have mild cramps? I have them on a daily basis. They're in my lower back as well and I know that's normal but I haven't read anything about abdominal cramps. I am praying a lot because I really, really want everything to be ok!

How far along are you hun?

Have you spoke to your midwife?

I personally have never suffered cramps in any of my pregnancy's this is my 4th!

If you havn't seen your midwife i would go so she can check you over , best to be safe.

Hope you feel better soon :)

I don't have a midwife yet, I have yet to go to the doctor as I found out four days ago, I am making an appointment tomorrow. I am just so anxious! I am so scared that I won't make it past the first few weeks. :(

Hello!
When i was about 5 weeks i had terrible back ache and sore tummy, i went to the doctor who said it was Uti, gave me anti-biotics and it cleared up, i would take a trip to see your g.p :)

Hi there, I have had cramps since before AF was due, and still get them on and off, and also lower back ache. My doc said it is perfectly normal in early pregnancy as everything is stretching in preparation for your baby.

I had an early scan at 7 and half weeks and everything was ok up to that point. I have another scan next week. But I shouldn't worry too much, it all aounds normal to me.

Piglet xx

I hope it's normal cause I get slight cramps and stretchy type pains almost every day. I had an MC in September and the cramps I had then were very painful to the point I couldn't stand up straight. Try not to worry

i have pains too and did in my last pregnancy too xxxx

i also had mild AF cramps on and off at very beginning of pregnancy and i think a lot of the girls have

Now you say you are only just pregnant then yes i agree they are normal i remember getting them at about the time AF was due and just after then they go away, i thought you ment you was like 2 or 3 months thats why i said it didn't sound normal, im sure everything is fine and best thing you can do it try not to worry and stress about it! I know it's hard but do try as it will help x

I also get stretching pains and I have had them since the start of my pregnancy.

i had cramps just like period pains, in fact i waited til my period was almost 2 weeks late b4 i took a test, because i was so convinced i was gonna come on! i believe its implantation and ur uterus stretching. hope u feel better soon xx

Perfectly normal hun, i had them all the way through and Isla came out just fine! When i first was pregnant i was convinced i was coming on fopr weeks as the pains were just like when AF was coming!!!

Dont worry hun you'll be fine a few months and youll be a mummy!!! :D

Thank you guys so much for the reassurance, I've been needing it a lot these days! My doctors also made me go into the emergency room because I told them I had really mild cramps (I gave them a three on the pain scale). I just want to get through the first few weeks with me and the baby healthy.

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and suffer from period pain like cramps and backache, i also suffer with wind a lot? Not sure if that is normal, but hey ho! Am pritty miserable at the moment as with the cramps, backache and oh yeh of course the all day morning sickness - when will i start to relax and enjoy my pregnancy?
I have worried for the last 3 weeks since finding out i am pregnant, as i thought the stomach cramps were a sign of something being wrong. Reading other peoples problems have releaved some of my worries!
