Well, the witch is here & I've got fantastic cramps right now so as you can imagine I feel positively wonderful.

So this is the start of my relaxed month, the problem is, I'm not sure how much to relax

I'm not doing OPKs or temping this month, the problem is, I know I Ov around CD16 so even if I don't do OPKs I know I'll be Oving around Christmas. Should I carry on noting down how I feel as I go along?

Normally I keep a little written record of how I'm feeling/what's going on with my body. I want to be relaxed this month but at the same time I've got into the habit of writing these things down & in the past when I've taken a month off I've completely lost track of where I am in my cycle & have ended up really confused.

Also, what about the asprin & pregnacare? If I'm taking a break from temping & opks should I stop the vitamins & things too? What do you guys do when you take time off?

I think I'm overthinking this relaxing thing a bit lol!

Ha ha - overthinking the relaxing - love it!!! Take your pregnacare, vitamins etc and dont do the rest I say. Make sure loads of BDing at XMas and that's it! Dont write ANYTHING down - You know roughly when gonna OV and you know roughly if/when next AF will come so just chill.....
Oh and sorry your having yukky AF cramps:hug:
Stay on here though.....ha ha

I agree with tracey, keep taking the vits cos you never know if it will mess them up for next month or it they might need a bit longer to get to work again but the rest id just forget for the month and just enjoy xmas!!!!

Good luck!!!!

i think keep taking vitamins and things. maybe so not to loose track note what cycle day and the date it is on but thats it no symptoms, no nothing!!
this way u wont get lost on where ou are but you can just jot down every few days or something cd16 on so and so a date??
dont know if this is any help but ggood luck with the relaxed approach let us all know how you get on we may all have to throw out our opks :)

Thanks girls.

This is so typical of me, can't even relax without making sure I'm well and truly organised for it first.

I'm going to keep on with the vitamins and asprin but I'm going to try not writing in my little book. I've written the start date of this cycle in it so if I need to know how far through it I am then I can check. I expect the next one will start the first week in January so I've got an idea of when it should end, and I know roughly when I'll Ov so I'll have to do loads of :bd: then just to be safe.

Underneath my note with CD1 I've written a note to myself that I'm not to write anything else down and that this is a relaxing cycle. Just in case I forget.

Hey hun! sorry she got you :hugs:

i'm not really sure about the asprin but i think you should keep taking the vitamins as that folic acid is really important especially if the relaxed approch works :)

Thanks hun. Going to have to pick up some more pregnacare, realised this morning that I'm getting a bit low. Should have enough to last me until next Saturday when I can pick up more.

It's really silly but I'm kind of looking forward to this cycle, not worrying too much about how it's all going, and at least I have Christmas to focus on if I need something to take my mind off things. Though I kind of wish the 2ww could be in the run up to Christmas rather than in the 2 weeks after because I think I'll have less to do then.

I know kizzibea i will be oving around the same time as you which means 2WW over new year :( no drinking for me i guess which sucks, planning on a couple of glasses of wine on xmas day tho, might not have had my surge by then.

How are you approching the 2WW?

Totally agree with Tracey, take ur vits, bd lots when u think u r ov and RELAX good luck Hun xx

Ha ha - you crack me up! Good luck with this - never realised that my 2ww will be run up to Xmas so can take my mind off symptom spotting too YAY!

Well as I won't know exactly when the 2ww starts, that'll take some pressure off the symptom spotting side of things. Think I'll play things like food & drink by ear and just see how it goes. Plenty of women indulge before they know that they're pregnant, so I'm going to try and not get too hung up about it.

Haven't got any wild parties planned, so that'll help. ;) Just a quiet night in on New Year's Eve.

So basically just going to keep going and see whether AF shows up by the 7th of January. :)
