My baby will only be just 3 months at christmas, i dont want to go ott with the presents because hes way to young to understand what christmas is! I will most likely buy toys of different age ranges so he has things throughout the year,

so ladies my question is
How old was your baby at his/hers 1st christmas?
How much roughly do you think you spent?

my oldest was 4 weeks at christmas so i only spent about 40 pounds on her
my second daughter was 2 weeks at christmas, so i didnt have a lot of time to buy things and oly brought a couple of toys whick only came to about 20 pounds
and my son i did buy him nothing as he was only 1 day old at xmas, he came early wasnt suppose to come till 2nd january

Ive only spent £100 on toys and £100 into Kaidens trust fund, My OH has another son who was given everything and hes a very selfish wee guy even though hes 10 now, even though we have a bit of cash, im gonna make sure he isnt spoilt, hes the 1st grandchild too so the house will be over flowing with toys. I think Christmas is a bit over commercialised nowdays. XkelX

Lydia was exactly 3 months at Christmas last year.

This is what we bought her
link

it says it's £29.99 reduced from £39.99 - I think it was £39.99 when we bought her it, but don't quote me on that, it could have been the cheaper price.

ETA: I have absolutely no idea why the fook they made the link to that argos page so ******edly long - I'm sorry it's screwed the page up!

Jakob will be spoilt by family im sure so we are just going to get him some little timberland winter warmer boots and a little ball pool :)

Do you want to replace the link with this *******?

lasy year i spent over £150 on Dior and it was a big mistake she was only 9months old and i was just buying every thing.

this year i will spend £100 between them if that :)

but i am buying my mum a £250 carpet for her front rom she is ging to be over the moon :cheer:

Thanx for letting me have an idea, i know family wil buy loads i just didnt want to look cruel :rotfl:

We are also going to take it easy this year and just get a light show for the ceiling og´f the nursery. My brother ahs already been down the Disney Store and spent £150 on her already! She is going to be so spoilt her whole life I don't think it matters what we buy her this Xmas

D was a week old last time and we hadn't got him anything
This year we're spending 50pound odd probably, as it's his brithday just before and he'll get loads then too. We'd run out of stuff to by!
I don't think they need to have alot spent on them at this young age, save it for when they are 15 and want the lastest games console which costs £300+

Thea has already got lots of presents waiting for her in England that we will collect when we go back for a visit at the begining of December.
We have seen a few bits and pieces we are going to get her but we wont be spending a great deal.

so far this year ive spent over 500 pounds on all 3 of them but i still wanna get more (im not going to tell oh how much ive spent so far he will kill me lol)

thanks to whoever shortened that link for me :)

Aaron was 3 months on his first chirstmas and we spent about £100 I think but we got him the little touch leap pad thing which was about £40 on it's own. We haven't spent a ton this year as he still has stuff from his birthday he hasn't used, think we've spent about £60 this year.

thats what my mum is buying my nephew for christmas, he'll be 4 1/2 months.

im planning on buying him a graco activity centre, dont want to spend too much on him coz tbh he wont understand christmas, and he'll probably prefer chewing on the box as opposed to the actual contents

My baby will be under two months old so although we have bought a few pressies we are probably going to put say £50 in his/her bank account which we are going to open. It will be one that they can't touch without are say so until they get to 18 or 21.

I spent a fortune on mine and on their first christmas they were 3 months and 2 days, won't be doing that this time!

they really weren't interested in christmas, think it was more for me ! :D

we spents about £100 om hannah last christmas she was 3and a hlf months and hadnt got a clue, have spent about £6 this yeaer as she already has loads but have spent just over £600 on son so far but he is 15 so everything he wants is expensive, that does include a laptop too.
