Hey ladies

Just wondering how many of us only take one test, and how many take several??

I was due on AF 9th July and so far, have no sign of it. I took ONE test, a Clear Blue Digitial last weekend and it came back with a BFP 3+weeks.

I haven't taken another test.

I don't feel pregnant at all. My nipples have been constantly erect and I feel really bloated but I'm no slim jim so may be normal bloating.

Do most people take several tests or is reasonable to trust the one test and assume it is accurate??

Yeah, especially with it being after your periods due.

Everything will be fine <3

I was not prepared for how anxious and worried finding out you're possibly pregnant makes you. It's intense.

This forum is great for support but also worries me more as it makes me even more aware of the horror stories etc.

Everyone seems to test consistently and I've literally done the one. I had a false positive last year albeit the circumstances were different but having read everyone elses posts I'm wondering if relying on one test is sensible.

Will we ever stop worrying? Xx

Haha no, the worry never stops now, the worst is when you give birth and you know you’ve got to take baby home and keep it alive haha

My MIL asked if I’d had my pregnancy verified when we told her I was pregnant and I was like ‘no, I’ve taken 3 home test that all say the same thing, don’t know how else the doctor can ‘verify’ my pregnancy grrr annoyed me a little.

Take another test, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed:)

First pregnancy I only took one test.

Second pregnancy I took one pink dye and one digital a few days later.

This time I’ve taken two pink dyes. First one had a faint line so I took a second the next day to check I wasn’t seeing things.

I always think taking multiple tests would just freak me out in case the lines weren’t as dark or whatever. I’m not sure it’s worth the potential stress to keep testing unless you have any bleeding or anything untoward
