How many DPO to BFP? - a survey!

Just wanted a quick survey.

I am at least day 13 DPO (although according to BBT I suspect I may have ovulated 2 or 3 days earlier than expected) and had BFN on day 10. Desparate to check again but worried about bankrupting myself on pregnancy tests!

Had promised myself I'd wait longer but keen to know when people got their first BFP?

I bought some pregnancy tests through the internet, and they worked out at only about 40p-£1 each - much cheaper than buying from the shops!

I honestly don't think the tests are as inaccurate as all that. They are said to be something like 99.9% accurate or something.

Never had a false negative or positive but then I haven't been as much into doing frequent tests as some people are- because of the money involved.

But with these bargain ebay tests and stuff, people are dong it more regularly and earlier so they probably notice more variation in the quality of tests.

Anyway I had about two negatives, then I gave up thinking about it for a few years lol, we didn't even think we could have children until this surprise! So I kept thinking my period would show up this month, and finally tested with a test from the chemist's just before 6 weeks pregnant, the 2 lines were very strong

But I appreciate testing could be addictive- would you want to resist that temptation? Don't think I would've liked the rollercoaster ride of testing so often, so would always have waited till at least the day my period is due.

i was 10dpo and i had a faint + , then did a clear blue digital test that said pregnant.. i was 3 days from af.. and got a +

Finally got BFP.

Approx 16 DPO.
