Atm I have x2 Celular blankets, and either 2 or 4 Flanette sheets wich Ill put underneath the celular blanket.
I also have x1 very thick blanket that Im thinking will be used to keep her snug when shes in the carrycot in the pushchair.
Is that enough?
Thanks.

We have 3x fleece blankets and 2x cotton as I can't bear the feel of cellular blankets x I think you've got enough x

whats the differance between the ones u have hun to a celular and flanette blanket? if that means sence lol x

I'm not 100% certain tbh, all I know is that the feeling of cellular blankets (especially when wet) makes my skin crawl-like nails down a blackboard x I think flanelette blankets are slightly thinner, great for layering x

Okay hun thanks :)
Its one of my fears, I hate putting things on them as Im always scared Im going to do it wrong and theyll be too cold/too hot lol
On a typical winters evening do u think vest, sleepsuit, scratch mittens, flanette blankett and then celular one on top is about right?
Do they need to wear a hat inside when there little as well? x

Lilly your not giving me much faith considering you've done this before  I have bloody loads of blankets, people have given me hundreds! I have like 6 cellular blankets, 3 fleece ones and some thicker ones. Lol. I know I'm not going to be using them all, but at least I have loads for back up! X

No hat x yeah that sounds about right that way if baby gets chilly you can add a layer or vice versa x also don't forget 1 blanket folded equals 2 layers! They say it's better for them to be slightly chilly rather than too warm and I've found that if Seb gets too hot or too cold he wakes up anyway x

LOL lexi! I have an awwwful memory, cant remember anything! lol
and thanks helen, think I might stock up on 1 more of each jst to make sure i have enough :)
xx

I couldn't remember anything either! I blame permanent baby brain!

I have 2 fleece, 1 very wooly blanket, 1 cellular cos like Helen I don't like them!! I used 2 folded under Charleys Moses basket mattress so it's slightly raised! I only really use them when he's in his pushchair. He's been either in sleeping bags or his cotbed duvet since 2/3 weeks x x

what do u mean by fleece hun? do u mean like a flanette kinda one or proper fleece ones like are really thick? x

Like flanette ones! I use 1 in his pushchair and 1 goes on top of his duvet. Even though his duvets thick he still wants that extra layer! He hates being cold!

You know you prop the matters up in the Moses basket, when did you start doing that? I can't imagine it's much fun being layed flat all the time! X

When there newborn hun they can be proped up.
Joe was very sicky the first few weeks and i proped him up in the hospital cots so wen he was sick there was less risk of him choking etc x

i have about 20 different blankets....some for bedtime and some for going out!

Lexi, I did it straight away too. Charleys got a reflux so it also helps with that!

Oh ok, I may follow suit because I fibrefill I'd want to lie flat it would bore me! My carry cot for pushchair is pretty cool, it has a dial that you twist and it adjusts the angle of matress x

Hi there, we have:
2 cellular
2 fluffy (gorgeous and soft and only £3 from primark!)
2 fleece

We usually put her in a grow bag which restricts how much she can move about in the cot (we forgot the growbag the other night and when I went in for her night feed she was upside-down!!) and then put one fluffy blanked or 1 fleece over that but you cab layer up depending on how hot or cold it is.

that sounds wicked Lexi what pushchair have you got?

Thanks everyone, gonna go out tomorrow nd get some more, good excuse to go into the new primark that's opened :P

You can never have too many! Baby sick gets everywhere and the washing machine is always on. We used to go through loads of sheets and blankets with spit up on everything.
