Cot Bedding

What bedding do i need to buy for my cot?

I know that I shoudn't use a duvet so have bought a couple of cellular blankets and fitted sheets for the mattress. Do I also need to use a plain cotton topsheet for under the cellular blankets? Is this enough?

My baby will be in the moses basket for the first few months then we are hoping to get it into the cot so it should be around August/Sept.

I use 2 sheets 1 under, ( fitted in the moses basket) 1 over ( folded over so is actually classed as 2 sheets and a cellular blanket...

Yeah thats fine!

I bought a bedding bale from mothercare...they come in cot and moses basket sizes.

Ive always used a fitted sheet for the mattress, a flannel flat sheet on top of her and a cellular blanket on top of that.

I know someone who piles 3 folded up fleece blankets on her baby just because she had a low birth temprature...i feel like shaking her and saying THINGS CHANGE SHES FINE NOW lol...it's most important not to overheat a baby rather than them being a bit chilly.

yeah the sleepbags are good too i use mine when my room feels colder than usual silly english weather.

I thought you used sleeping bags on their own, rather than with blankets?

I use the sleeping bag in the cold weather too.... I find if you use it on it's own Arianna's hands are freezing in the morning!
