How long did you/do you plan to breast feed for?

I was absolutely determined to breastfeed but had no idea how it would work out or have any set idea for how long. We had a rocky start due to an undiagnosed posterior tongue tie and I got bouts of nursing aversion but it quickly became very obvious that it would be waaaaay harder to completely wean him than just keep it going. We are still doing a bedtime feed now at 2years 3 months and i'm actually very grateful for the whole experience.
